If it was too late Tiesday for Palace it's deffo gonna be too late on Thursday isn't it lol

What you reckon Toff, do you think this will go through or too late in the day?

Well, according to the people who said that, Palace (as of Wednesday morning) were open to the bid that we made Tuesday evening.

However, after informing Zaha that they were open (hence Zaha pretty much getting geared up to leave) they pulled the plug. That's why Zaha handed in the request (he wants that £200k). Again, I'm not saying this is true. It doesn't fully go with what reliable sources like Joyce have said.

Honestly, I don't know. I think it's more likely he stays at this stage. But I think we're probably trying all we can.

The issue is, if it doesn't go through, what are we left with? We've got five hours. And while things can move quickly, you'd have thought there'd be more links by now.

From the Palace end (two different people - but one of whom was a guest on the BlueRoom yesterday).

- Zaha trained as normal in the morning
- Was informed of Everton's bid from Tuesday (the reported £60-70m (not sure on exact figure) + Tosun - not McCarthy, deal was already done for J.Mac) after training
- Player was informed Palace were willing to accept
- Player and agent were discussing final details with Everton
- Palace pulled the plug as thought it was too late
- Zaha, at this point believing deal was done, handed in transfer request

I'm not saying the above is true. Just saying that's what's been said.

What I do know is true is the transfer request.

For work, yesterday, I had to email the Palace PO and ask for clarity on the request. They confirmed, but obviously offered no further comment. It was purely so we could run a line saying the request had been handed in (as an organisation the group I work for are too large and by the book to not get stuff verified before running). I emailed at 4pm and got a response at 8ish yesterday.

Oh my god, a professional weaselling.

Because I love my club and don't like seeing it getting written off as small time on national media like that?

Bet you want us to sell richarlison little blert.

Aye, and Gomes and Keane and Pickford too. Throw in Kean while they're at it.

No, nowt to do with that. I just don't really care what some random presenter says about us.

in all fairness absolutely no one on the blueroom has a clue what’s going on

Oh Christ it shuts

in all fairness absolutely no one on the blueroom has a clue what’s going on

That wasn't someone from the Blueroom. They didn't claim it either.

It's a guest they had on whose got half-decent connections at Palace. That's all. They were previewing the Palace game.

As I said, I have no idea how true it is. I've just heard the same story twice (once was on that podcast).
