Disagree - he's a good player but he isnt better than Iwobi or Zaha.

I would also say Watford aside he hasnt impressed much either - our fans are too easily pleased by a few tippy passes and link ups with the fullback that lead to nothing.

I like Iwobi but surely the jury is still out, he hasn't played two games for Everton yet, so I'll keep my overall judgment until I've seen more. Bernard is a dampened good player, very underrated by our fanbase I think. Similar in build and style of play as Pienaar, only faster. In no way on God's earth could you address Bernard as lumbering, but your allowed an opinion like all of us, even if it is wrong in my eyes on that.

If you pay £80m for a winger/forward though you expect him to be able to deal with being marked by a defender, that is pretty basic stuff, yet Zaha can't and just falls over looking for the fall most of the time. For that sort of money (i get that its not him setting the price) and that sort of player, particularly the way he is bigged up in the media, you would expect his numbers to be far better than they actually are.

Please don't mention him in the same breath as Pienaar .He has the guile but nowhere near the influence on the game . I agree lumbering is a crazy way to describe him .

All about opinions mate, agree though Pienaar was a cracking player for us, but didn't score many as I recall.
I also think Bernard will be a cracking player for us....Given chance.

Well he better hurry up. He's 27 and done nothing of note in the game and nobody is falling over themselves to pay that high price.
