I really think that Thelwell has tried and had worked hard. We've been linked to a fair few players. You all are really underestimating how grossly unattractive we are as a club right now.

So, I've been busy at work today and this is my first opportunity to check in with our exciting transfer deadline day. Seems like everything is going to plan!

Vinny O'Connor is a gimp

@Charlie Sweet and @MikeH72 agreed on something

Sean Dyche is still picking glass out of his feet

@BainesontoastNEW is still picking glass out of his face

@bullybeef is a massive bellend

Everton are trying to work out which of the 350 Dembeles it is they've bid for

That about covers it.

I find it difficult to imagine them not bringing anyone at all, just because it feels like that could turn the powder keg into a full on explosion on saturday. What worries me is whether that means we end up doing something absolutely ridiculous just for the sake of getting someone in.
Sounds like we're setting the stage for the Return of the Prince!

If the finances are this bad maybe it is the sensible play not to spend. Go down and we will have the Gordon Money, Moise K money, Onana Money, and Pickford money to keep us solvent for a year. A couple of loans and smart cheaper signings and we would have the side capable of coming straight.

On the other side if Dyche works a miracle and keeps us up without spending if we do then cash in on Pickford and Onana before the accounting period we might actually be in a position to rebuild properly.

Worst case scenario waste the Gordon money on more dross and go down with additional liabilities
Is that you Bill?

I think players will come in. Once again it’s been left till the last day. This can’t go on year after year.

Every window we chase gaps to fill and never sort them all so every year is a catch up job to fix a problem and then another arises we have to sort out. All the while more often than not it’s left till the last day potentially affecting results on the pitch.

It’s dodgy. They don’t want scrutiny from fans because it’s not run right but they get well paid anyway which results in propaganda campaigns against the fans.

The fume will be off the charts if they dont spend any of the Gordon money. The previous protests will look like a WI meeting in comparison!
