Relegation 23/24 Thread

I think this thread should be kept open for 2 reasons:

1. The thought of this thread closing with THREE games to spare to avoid relegation, after the therapy it has provided me this season, will seriously affect my equilibrium...

2. We can discuss the relegation battle with our popcorn from afar, as we all (hopefully) watch Burnleys surge up the table continue to 'Notts' Forest and Luton down.

I can see Burnley potentially beating Newcastle next weekend, they've been very suspect away.

I also don't think Forests game at Sheff Utd is a gimme with the pressure on. They've been terrible but have actually been competitive in a few games lately.
Ya seen many times when a teams relegation is confirmed and they go on to win their next game

Do I want Luton down and Gary Sweet to cry about us not having enough points deducted, or do I want Forest down and taking Jonjo Shelvey and Emmanuel Dennis into the Championship on £100k a week? Tough decisions.
Is Shelvey on a Dele type loan?

….i’m 67 and I don’t think we’ve been anywhere else in my lifetime.
I was born the year we got promoted back to the 1st Division and been there ever since of course.
Being of that age, whenever some RS starts having a go about us playing in the Championship, I can remind them that I well remember them playing in the 2nd Division.
