None of what youā€™re talking about matters because the managers we have consistently choose not to try. Step one is trying to play football and win games and if theyā€™re falling short of that none of the rest of the makes any difference.

You canā€™t try this stuff when youā€™re 19th in the league though. Until perhaps the start of this season Dyche has never been in a position to try. Iā€™d argue Lampard did try at the start of his first full season and we got absolutely ran through and ended up 19th after 20 games. Ancelotti tried for 7 games then as soon as James got injured he stopped bothering. That tells you something in itself.

Koeman and Silva were the bigger disappointments to me because they had all the money in the world, wasted it on rubbish players and still served up complete dross. Iā€™ve got much more anger at them for wasting that opportunity than I have with Dyche for playing pragmatic football with this lot.

The next managerial appointment will be key and whoever we get they need to be backed with serious money so they can get the players they need. If the team sheet next season reads Coleman/Young Keane Tarkowski Mykolenko then they can have whatever philosophy they want, itā€™s not happening.

We need two new fullbacks, another CB, another central mid, two attacking wide players and probably another attacking midfielder as a minimum and thatā€™s with Branthwaite staying, if he goes add another top CB to that list.

When you got Young, Coleman, Patterson, Harrison and Lindstrom as your Right flank, it is what it is - they'd struggle in the Championship.
And who do they link with in attack - Doucs and DCL/Beto.
There's a decent argument to be had that a high % of the managers in the sides in and around Everton would get Everton relegated with any other approach than what Dyche is using.
I'm no fan of his and when hopefully more players like Ndaiye and Tim come in I want to see Dyche gone. But for now it is what it is.
Lindstrom did well
In Germany and cost 30mil. Harrison got 21 Goals and 16 assist in 3 years at Leeds. All Our 3 Right backs have played international football. 100ā€™s and 100ā€™s of managers would have kept us last season and this

Itā€™s always a choice. Always.

This is also Dycheā€™s second full season so heā€™s now had to chances where he started with exactly the same points as everyone else. Itā€™s an absolutely BS excuse to say weā€™re near the bottom and have to do this. How did we get there?

Yes the next manager is huge because if we choose another who chooses not to play football we may finally go down.

Lindstrom did well
In Germany - Flopped in Italy though

and cost 30mil. - Yet a year on, Napoli were happy just to get him off their wage bill. Michael Keane cost the best part of Ā£30 million about 7 years ago, it means very little and is no guarantee of anything, as Napoli have evidently discovered, and it's not actually that much these days anyway.

Does it mean Coleman is earning his wages or that Patterson is actually good because he played for the mighty Scots?

100's and 100's of managers would have kept us up  Just a shame the feller you said should be given 3 or 4 years even if he was finishing 17th didn't look like he could even achieve that paltry target eh?. I suppose he's just the 301st best manager or something though, eh?

Agreed Chic's...

Why stop there, mate?
We should do something like this to commemorate the last 10 years of amazing mangerial appointments:

With Dyche, the FSW kopite mess, and maybe fathead Koeman? šŸ¤”

It could be dubbed: The Unholy Trinity? šŸ˜œ
Even as a joke I canā€™t stomach the idea of that horrible Kopite being memorialised , he shouldnā€™t even be given the honour of being recorded in our list of managers .

Carlo ancelotti 21/12/19 -01/06/21
REDACTED
Duncan Ferguson 16/01/22-31/0122
Frank Lampard 31/01/22-23/01/23
