2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

There is no guarantee that Dyche doesn't get us relegated. He has already been relegated one and 15/16ths times.
Who were you recommending we hire?

I think this guy was a lot more balanced:

Its a very tricky one this, in my opinion the new owners/technical director (whatever strategy of our playing style and recruitment) need to be the ones that highlight what players we try and buy, not sean dyche.
we desperately need a quality number 10 and a right winger so that we at least have a platform to create something in the final thrird.
Whether he plays them, and somehow gets the balance right between our rigid defending and formation, with a bit of flair and cutting edge that we are sadly lacking, will determine whether he should remain as manager this season or we opt for something else.

Just seen the pitiful Wolves Manager was sacked.

I’m sure no one on here has ever suggested him for Everton on here? Doubt it lads.
Think we need an amnesty.

@Curtis, sorry to do this, but you had a shocker on this one!

Probably be an ordeal to get him but I think Gary O'Neil would be a solid replacement. There are a host of decent options that are feasible I believe that are available

Do you literally have to manipulate every post you do on here mate. Here is the bit you deleted from the end of that post. Clearly i was talking about if we were in the championship. Note that there is also no Lob at the end of it. You added that bit in. Pretty sure deliberately rewording and manipulating peoples posts is against the rules. One really sad dude you are.

Have to face the reality that Dyche is the most experienced we could hope for in the championship and our best chance of not staying down their too long. He will need the board completely wiped out and replaced for that to happen though.

And here is me 7 years ago voting no to Dyche. That opinion has never changed and ended up being very accurate.

If anyone believes that they should take up watching some other sport.

What about the people who say with absolute certainty that we set up yesterday exactly the same way we did against Saints? Y'know, because he never, ever makes any adjustments apparently.

I've actually been quite surprised that we rarely look to employ the low block these days, but according to some, it's all we ever do - y'know, don't try to win, just cling on for dear life 38 times a season. It's not what I've been seeing though tbh, so it's one of 3 things: People aren't actually watching us play, and just assume that's what we do week in week out because they reckon Dyche doesn't know any other way. People don't understand that there can be a difference between being an organised well drilled side and a side that uses the low block, or they're just blinded by preconceptions so assume that every game we don't score is because the manager is so defensive minded and we spent the whole game camped on the edge of our box.

Well, somebody was clearly wetting the bed in 2017 :hayee: Unfortunately though, he's much more suitable these days compared to the aspirations we had then.
