I think we probably have got a worse team than them to be honest yeah.

We absolutely have. I said it about Forest a while back, and loads of people took it as me saying that every single Forest player is better than ours. That's not how it works in a team sport though, is it. We could have 8 starting players that are better than Forest's players in similar positions, but if our other 3 starting spots are going to League One players, and there's are all dependable premier league players, if not great, then I know which team will likely perform better as a unit.

Oh, and before anybody jumps in, I'm not saying we've got any League One standard players, I'm just using that to make a point. That point being if you're lacking in a couple of key areas then it affects performance, no matter how good the rest of the team is.

I think we probably have got a worse team than them to be honest yeah. I think there’s a little bit of arrogance in the way some people sort of assume Bournemouth's players must be crap because they’re not traditional big team but I think they’re probably better than us man for man personally and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be when you look at the money spent etc.

That’s not really the point though. Or even slightly the point actually. It’s not about saying he’s the right man for the job, it’s about being able to say yeah fair enough they did well yesterday, rather than calling it disgusting, cowardly, lucky, embarrassing, the worst display ever ever ever, a missed opportunity etc when we draw away at a title challenger. There’s a big middle ground there.
Like ive said mate, this is how we play 9 out of 10 games. This isnt a one off, its horrid to watch absolutely horrid.

Bournemouth players are average they are looking better than they are because of the managers way of playing and being positive.
Forrest have Chris Wood upfront and are scoring for fun
Brighton have your Welbecks Lewis Dunks and James Milners

Ok let me put it this way, Forest Bournemouth Brighton Brentford Fulham wouldnt be were they are now with Dyche as their manager.
They would be in or around the bottom 3 and Dyche would be saying "other teams have the quality' he is bluffing us on a weekly basis.

Dyche is not going to change.
He's going to hopefully not get us relegated and that's v good considering the squad we have in this league.
On the other hand this team doesn't seem like it will progress with him.
Maybe we'll look more fondly on him once he's gone.
There are things he can do though. I'm hoping he'll see the sense in bringing on the partnership of Ndaiye (10) and Broja (9) through the middle. He can still base a strong defense around that.

I’ve literally never argued against any of that though. Not just this morning, I mean ever. My point is absolutely not ‘Sean dyche is amazing we’re so lucky to have him I hope he stays forever’, it’s just that I don’t think he’s the completely incompetent idiot that some people are absolutely determined to paint him as. For some people they will remove all context from the discussion to just constantly ram home the agenda and it’s ridiculous. This is a case in point. If we play like that in the next 9 then moan after the next 9, there’s just no point in moaning about yesterday because IN CONTEXT it was a good performance and result. As I said originally, it’s absolutely fine to say that yesterday doesn’t change anything and we shouldn’t play like that in other games, but that’s not what a lot of people are doing, they’re complaining about yesterday itself, which I honestly just find bonkers.

We're walking in the air
We're gloating in the moonlit sky
The haters far below
Are sleeping as we fly
I'm holding very tight
I'm riding with the midnight blues
I'm finding I can fly
So high above with you

I said on a WhatsApp group yesterday, we have 32 points from the last 24 games. It's kind of mad that people think he should be sacked immediately to me. Someone said I was just fishing, which at some sublimanal level I may have been, but it wasn't intentionally so. Like within the parameters he has been given, he is doing the job he was employed to do.

The other criticism I see, is that people say we had to have some luck. Which is true, but we needed an awful lot less luck than if we made the game like a 5 or 6 goal match.
But you can Spin anything that suits your argument he’s averaging 1 point a game This season from a very decent set of fixtures. We will survive on 38 points, but is that good enough? Not a chance imo and he sound be removed if TFG have their man ready tk go

I don’t think people in this thread actually take notice of what’s happening on the pitch.

Yesterday was an extreme way of playing to try and grind out a result away from home and it worked.

I haven’t seen us play like that often this season. Even against United it was different.
