Watkins missed a big one the first half after Young's mistake. But scored the 2nd chance after another individual mistake by us.

As I said 2 goals/11 big chances missed is by far the worst ratio by any of the league, everyone above 8 big chances missed has at least 5 goals.

I remember there was something in the press about 3 seasons ago, that the club were happy to move him on as they believed he had hit his ceiling and would not improve any further.

Whether it was his injuries or not which put paid to that, who knows?

As I wrote last night, wouldn’t be at all surprised if he’d retired by the age of 30.
