New Everton Stadium

Yeah there was discussion and a few links to Twitter/x about the fan zone going in its place in this thread. The new owner was an MP for Reform/UKIP or something along those lines.
It’s going to be one of those Willy Wonka Experience viral disasters, this tent.

It’s the cheapest way to put up the crappiest place to serve the most profitable beer, replete with AI generated posters of Everton’s greatest moments - like when Alf Ramsey kicked the goal that won EverTown the Football Cup at Aintree.

Just been talking to a neighbour about this. He is a safety inspector himself. He reckons that at present not even Everton know the timing of the evacuation.
All Everton will know is that "at some point" during the second half the Inspector will inform them that "there is an incident in Block (*) Section (*) the ground needs to be evacuated ASAP and exits (*) and (*) are inaccessable."
This will be relayed to staff who must then ensure that everybody gets out by the nearest 'safe' exit.
A bit like the driving test where you have to do an emergency stop

Ye, can't see it lasting any longer than a season or two

Have the tickets been issued for the 2nd test event?
I've purchased one, but I haven't got a clue where to find it, I'm guessing it's for downloading on your phone?
Anyone going to the game received your ticket?
Apologies if I'm having a senior moment here.
When I go to the game, I just put the season ticket card on the contactless thing, so I don't normally have to download anything.

You get an email with a download link. Maybe tomorrow. Your phone needs to be NFC enabled.

Everyone's best guess is that they are treating the steel with something extra industrial because of the sea air it'll have to weather.

Both of these were my initial guesses, especially considering the coverings. I was hoping it would be something more interesting if I'm being honest!
The security guards I spoke said it was exactly this.

That's not technically Terry's Timber, i'm not even sure he owns it. It's registered as having a private owner. Suspect he may have rented the land at some point to supplement the rest of his storage; or could own it personally I suppose.

The timber yard is behind the Bramley Moore with Terry's Timber Ltd shown to own everything in RED.
Somewhat interestingly, AJ Bell Trustees (Andy Bell) own this land here. Coincidence more than anything I suspect.
