It has been so good. As you say a hard watch but brilliant.I have found Adolescence a hard watch as I have kids at that age. I highly recommend it though, well written and so tense.
@jazzy you will enjoy it.

Just keep your eyes peeled, the fruit appears around August/September and lasts for months. It's height only reaches up to your waist, sometimes though had very prickly thorns.They're also not expensive to buy, both the fruit or the bush. But it's always better if you can get things for nowt.
Suprising what you see when you look. I also make rowan jelly, and rowan gin, the trees are everywhere - as an added bonus they also ward off witches.
I amended that post about five times as it is ! It's as good as it'll ever get.I’m still trying to get my head around a prickly fruit that comes up to waist height…….
Thank youBest wishes to you and your loved ones Jazzy. Serious illness is a huge challenge for everyone who loves the patient.
I think Quince perish too quickly and for that they are not commercial .Just for you :- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bread_cheeseWhat’s that?
Oh dear @jazzy what a terrible experience for you both .I can only offer you all my best wishes and hope your Mum is better today ,it must knock her about to to be messed with at her age ,I truly feel for her and you both .Stay strong that man .Hi everyone,
Yesterday was a very difficult day. I was at the hospital all day.
The good news is that the 2nd transfusion has boosted mums hemoglobin to normal levels but the bad news is that she has lost a ridiculous amount of weight and despite maintaining a decent appetite weighs only 36 kgs.
Even worse , overnight mum became delirious and was hallucinating. She was having imaginary conversations with my wife who wasn't with me. Calling the cat and trying to stroke her , asking the nurse if she was my wife's sister , accusing people of stealing her jewellery, the list was enormous. I cannot begin to tell you how distressing this was for me.
Despite being there virtually all day the Dr was too busy to discuss mums condition with me so I will go back again today and try again.

Thank you so muchJazzy, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. My own dear Mum passed in 2021, four years after being diagnosed with vascular dementia. Dad passed in 2008 - 94 and 88 years old, and DG both passed peacefully without any distress. Mam avoided Covid which was also a great relief, although it was impossible to converse with her in any meaningful way in the final two years, her last three were in a nursing home, nevertheless she knew that we were people that were OK and safe and she always smiled and held our hands right to the end.
My dear only sister passed in 2023 at just 64 from pancreatic cancer. Again she went peacefully, and all we could do was let her know we were with her. She was lucid until the day before she passed, and my wife gave her Eucharist that day. Her final 36 hours saw her unconscious as the morphine gave her relief from pain.
My faith passed on to me by my parents has kept me strong, and my sister never lost hers, and was never angry at her diagnosis, even though she knew she would not see my daughter, with whom she was so close, getting married last December.
You know that the GOT family is pulling for you.
God Bless you.
Oh this is so sad and must be so upsetting for you. Have they checked that your Mum hasn't got a urine infection? Well known to cause confusion in elderly people. Sending love xHi everyone,
