2nd test Everton Under-21s V Bolton Wanderers B

For sure, there has to be lateral thinking on this now. Things that haven't been considered before - or simply ruled out- have to come on deck. But I honestly dont think anything short of tons of cash for public transport sorts it.
They couldn't make Sandhills a super station just for 19 home games a season, imagine capacity away support turning up to be met by the combined forces of red and blue in the city.

Anything they (lcc) do that is then later used for hooliganism will be blamed on them. I wonder if some sort of train station collection point can be arranged and then aways bussed in and out on special corridors back to the 'aways' station?

Something else that'll be interesting, It's grand national day in 2 weeks. What happens when there is an event or competing events on a weekend with a home game scheduled? A late one say on a Saturday? Or when Mathew street festival is on. Having the city and it's arteries rammed and then expecting transport and regular policing to manage is just a recipe for disaster.

As for making “hundreds of thousands” today, those 25k will be at future games too. Wasn’t like 25k people were turning up for their only time of attending a game there.

Plenty of money was being spent in the concourse. Spent enough of it myself.
Do we not out source our catering?
