His offside goal no line was drawn I think he was just on - the 2nd where he hit the post - he did brilliantly to do all the hard work by getting past their defenders & then for some reason put an outward bend on his shot that is why it hit the post - Doh .....

I thought that Joey, I don't remember seeing a line to confirm the offside.

Thought he was great first half, he did brilliant work to make those two chances, really god centre forward play - neither were tap ins.

Did OK as our main outlet. Needs better players behind him. eg Alcarez and Ndiaye. Took the disallowed goal well and very unlucky to hit the post.
Every striker misses chances. Beto is under the spotlight more because we don't create enough.
If the lad shows the same level of improvement next season I would be happy. If there were ready made players out there that could guarantee 15-20 goals a season , they would already be snapped up or out of our price range.

Well it’s the recruitment teams job to find them, let’s not forget Beto missed 3 great chances recently in a game, was it Brentford? He’s not good enough at at 27 he’s not going to improve. There’s no way he can be our main number 9 next season

It’s ok causing trouble, but what did he do in the 2nd half ? You can’t have a CF who can’t hold onto the ball and release pressure. He’s not good enough for a team wanting to move forward and never will be

Dont know about that, if you cause VVD and Konate the problems he did in the first half you will do alight in this league.

He sent him off for his dinner for the second chance and no mistake.

The dude has 6 PL goals in 9 PL starts this season - not sure what we are comparing not being good enough to - but what ever it is, it at hast been at Everton football club in a long time.

I think that side of his game is ok. But the lack of goals from our forwards can’t continue. If we are to move on we will need better. I’m not saying bin the fella but we do need a goal scorer.

He has 6 in 9 PL starts mate, i dont know what else the lad can do.

I think most seasons and full whack he's a double digit PL forward.
