I've seen a few people basically say/post it.
Usually along the lines of 'American owner = automatically evil, because of LFC/MUFC'.
I would be more selective of reading what is posted by whom.

We borrow against future revenues to keep the club solvent, because the current majority shareholder isn't rich enough or business-savvy enough to finance the club himself , and the second largest shareholder is basically a silent partner that hasn't invested a penny in the club since buying Paul Gregg's shares 10 years ago.
I'm all for keeping an open mind and even sitting on the fence, but the idea these fellas are going to spend £200m, then do absolutely nothing, pocket loads of money and essentially run the club into the ground whilst not solving the stadium problem and seeing the club decline until it loses it's Premier League status is quite frankly ludicrous.
And the track record that Moores has is that he builds a new stadium. He's done it once, which is once more than Bill Kenwright.
That's my concern - say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss, sorta thing.I do have doubts that they won't do enough to move us on from our current position

did the sheikhs in dubai demand a middle eastern player at man city? noCannot wait for the fume on here when the new owners seek to increase maximum exposure by signing another American player next year.
The melt will be phenomenal.

Something stinks about the whole thing

I have no doubt they won't run the club into the ground.
I have no doubt that they'll do enough to maintain our place in the Premier League.
But, I do have doubts that they won't do enough to move us on from our current position, and will rely on the increasing TV revenue to give them a capital gain on their investment, or, in short do pretty much what the current board have been doing. In reality I think there'll be savvy enough to know that they'll get a better return on their investment by doing more than just sitting on it and will recognise that if they turn Everton into a Champions League team, then that'll be the best possible return. But, it's by no means a given that they'll see it like that.
