Watford Blame Everton

We have seen the classic honeymoon period when allardyce took over. But sadly the reality has kicked back in, that we have a bang average squad, that is unbalanced and still lacking in quality.

It's a fair assessment. He looks done to me.

Respect your opinion,Dave, but anyone who expected a quick fix after the shambles the worlds greatest ever centre falf in his own mind left behind is way off the mark. SAm is a highly experienced manager who will identify problems quickly but it takes longer to eradicate these problems. We needed a specialist striker, we got one, and WAlcott is a class above any other on the books apart from an on song fit Rooney. I'm sure he's aware of the defensive problems, but the right players have got to be available at the right price. You can only go so far with coaching....despite Cucos efforts(and give the guy his due, he does his best), the worlds best defensive coach couldn't turn him into a RAy Wilson or Leighton Baines.

I'd be very wary of going for a largely unproven manager who has so spectacularly stank out Watford so soon into his contract. If the one quality needed from a new boss is to get us playing football then I'd imagine there's quite a few who can bring that to the table without bringing some debatable luggage with them.
