Lets have some tippy tap football then and certain relegation..martinez mk 2Let’s get him in ASAP.
Get shut of BFS and his poo football.
Overpaid, pampered gits are a good deal of our current squad...stealing a living..They need - whisper it - a philosophy. A method of play and an identity.
This team are wandering about like lost souls.
Looks like the lads will be facing a chorus of boos when they play Watford in February.
Stop talking sense Anna....nail on head....I do not trust our clueless board to appoint anyone who will lift us out of the situation THEY have landed us inMarco Silva, a man who failed to stop Hull going down, and then gets his head turned by a listless Everton who were willing to pay £20 million to get him, and then gets sacked because he can't focus on his current job.
If we go back in for him in the summer I am officially done with this club, as that will tell me all I need to know about the direction and ambition of the current board.
It scares me how much we've floundered since Moyes left, getting in a just relegated manager in Martinez, then replacing him with a man who was more interested in his own ego than making changes to get the right results. Fast forward to panic appointing Allardyce because no one else wanted the job and we were/are in a relegation scrap.
If the board think Marco Silva is the answer then we are destined to struggle to keep our head above water until the entire board is cleared out.
Yesterday his whole demeanour looked wrong, he looked a tired dispirited figure in that press conference. Tried to give the players a kick up the backside after their inept performance at Wembley, but it backfired horribly with yesterday’s wretched performance. Despite the fact we had two new signings on the pitch. Worrying times indeed mate. It's a fair assessment. He looks done to me.
Wow...how bad business was that hahahAbsolutely hilarious , just what that plastic faux club deserve.
Turn down £15 mill and 2 months later have to pay Silva compo to get rid.
You couldn't make it up.
Ah well appoint another manager and sack him in 6 months .... par for the course.
A manager uses that "the players know they haven't performed" line sparingly if they have any sense. Especially with the dressing room culture in this club.Yesterday his whole demeanour looked wrong, he looked a tired dispirited figure in that press conference. Tried to give the players a kick up the backside after their inept performance at Wembley, but it backfired horribly with yesterday’s wretched performance. He's a one trick pony, steve...and it was a trick we didn't require in the first place. Yes we needed a figure of authority to come in but Moshiri panicked and sold us all short with this appointment.
I agree to a point, but yesterday we had 2 new big money signings making their home debuts, both very highly regarded by Sam as he said in his press conferences. Ok we weren’t expecting them to set the world alight, but you’d think we’d show a bit more of an attacking threat with their inclusion in the team. Alas we were wrong and catering in the fact the quality of the opposition we were up against, it was one of our worst home performances of the season. Sam did look at a loss in his press conference, I genuinely think he expected better yesterday as we all did, but the same dire unimaginative football was served up.Respect your opinion,Dave, but anyone who expected a quick fix after the shambles the worlds greatest ever centre falf in his own mind left behind is way off the mark. SAm is a highly experienced manager who will identify problems quickly but it takes longer to eradicate these problems. We needed a specialist striker, we got one, and WAlcott is a class above any other on the books apart from an on song fit Rooney. I'm sure he's aware of the defensive problems, but the right players have got to be available at the right price. You can only go so far with coaching....despite Cucos efforts(and give the guy his due, he does his best), the worlds best defensive coach couldn't turn him into a RAy Wilson or Leighton Baines.
Does he? Hadn't noticed that in the series of clueless comments he's made and disastrous forays into the managerial merry-go-round.I give Moshiri a bit more credit than you Dave. Even if he's made his money on the back of Usanomov he must be a pretty clear headed business man, and have an understanding of what is required at a particular time. I don't think he's prone to panic...more the opposite.
