I strongly suspect that Baines salary this season will be a reduction ( perhaps substantial ) on his previous contract

We can, I mean right now, no, but if we sign Gblammo, defo.

We play 2 in the middle Delph, Gblammo, Davies, Gomes might be a little light, but personally I would rather get Snides 120k a week wages off the bill rather than keep him around in case our whole midfield dies.
 
I'll be dissapointed if its only a loan move fir Schnerderlin. Whilst the blokes on big wages he's more than good enough for a midtable side or most in the likes of France/Germany.

Would have hoped that we could have offloaded on the cheap for £8-10 million to allow the buying club the funds to cover his wages/give him a signing on fee.

Hate dealing with Turkish clubs.
 

I would take Gary Cahill if it meant we had more money to sign another decent attacking player.
Could be a stop gap until Zouma was more likely.
He’s only 33, not like his legs have fallen off.

Signed a 4.5 year contract in 2017 for a fee of 24m.

If we sold him at such a massive loss this summer it would impact our accounts and limit our spending.

Accounts wise its probably in our best interests to loan him this window.

Gala will pay about £10k of his wages no doubt.
