Yeah, he will finish the season stronger, which sets himself up for next season.
Transitional season of stability, it's very important, be good though for once to finish better rather then fizzle out.
Needs injured players back in because this lot are Championship level at best. And he needs two players in January.

Top half finish and we go again next season.

Moshiri doesn't appoint foreign based managers

we are skint

Eddie Howe will be one of the favourites for the Everton job if they didn't give it Ferguson but keep telling yourself it'll be someone ace.
His last appointment was literally a foreign based manager.

It doesn't matter who we get right now really as our hands are tied for a bit (we are not "skint" per se, just cant spend) but as we need a couple of solid seasons to even the ship appointing a divisive manager will continue to be an incredibly stupid appointment.

Benitez looks frazzled, he looks gaunt and grey already! We destroy people here.

I said last week we'll be bottom half through most of November.

That will defo happen.

Until we get our only quality players back then the injury crisis will kill us.

There's no chance Benitez is leaving.

That's not an option for the board.

It is, Dave,

It has to be.

If we keep losing in this supine fashion we will be smack dab in the thick of the relegation battle by Christmas.

If that is the case this manager’s head….lany manager at any club in fact…will be on the block.

Sacking ia always an option when a team is struggling and the manager seems powerless to arrest the slide.

Surely only an idiot can be defending Benitez now.

He's right up there with Koeman as one of the worst mistakes this club has made for generations.

The problem is we have been that rash in decision making no one knows who truly could have turned things around or not - Koeman had a bad set of opening fixtures - maybe he could have turned it round with some investment in January?

Same for Silva?

Alladyce done a solid job with the squad he had results wise.

Ancelotti might have done more this season although with £1.7m to spend I doubt it.

Thats the problem when you hire and fire - a lot of what ifs whereas its clear cut Martinez was a lame duck here - 3 seasons and he just couldn't do it.
