I'm beginning to see it in those terms. Overall I don't think any of the three sides will end up with the sort of points totals expected. A win for us on Sunday would be highly significant. Here's hoping!
Do I think Sigurdsson’s 3 extra goals (we wouldn’t have had any more pens to equal the 6 in total) would’ve had us higher up the table? Probably not to be honest no.

I'd argue we have missed his assists. Same as digne really.
His goals have probably been replaced, but him and digne were our top assisters last season.
The two of them and James got 16 assists last season.
This season our top 3 assisters are on 11. And 2 of them are Richie and Doucs both on 4. (They each got 3 last season). (According to the PL app)

Garbage.
His dead ball set pieces were light years ahead of Gordon’s at the moment. He scored goals as well. Ridiculous to discount his contribution.
I think admittedly we have missed someone that can lob a set piece into an area. It’s astonished me how bad our current players are at taking corners. We really shouldn’t be struggling to find a set piece taker in this day and age with the money we’ve spent.
Gordon has scored more than he did from open play last season. Would have more in total if he was our penalty taker too.

Gordon is the reason we are in a relegation battle.
