In all honesty mate we need to all be prepared for a couple years of mid-lower league finishes. It'll be some time before we're able to pull off big transfers again.
How many really big transfers have we pulled off in recent times, even with money. We’ve basically over spent on dross. James is the only one and he was a free

…big money transfers doesn’t always lead to big quality transfers. Similarly, there is quality to be had at lower prices, finding them is the hard part but we pay people lots of money to do just that.

Yep, it's all not very exciting...remember not so long ago we had Lukaku, Stones, An exciting Barkley breaking onto the scene, a young Lookman showing potential, A fit Coleman...we could have a real go at teams and things were looking up. Then the wheels fell off...

That has been are problem. Even when we could afford them the genuine top quality players do not want to come here. Our strategy was all wrong. We should be trying to do it more like Leicester with smart recruiting of players on the way up
