    Surely its quite bad having to do nothing all the time though and being able to afford to just pay to have a roof over your head?

    couldn't afford to have what we have here, mate. the house would cost about £350k in the UK, what with all the land its got (nearly 5 acres). Got a barn, an outhouse, a huge cellar. Plus we brought a pony over with us, and he couldn't make the journey back. He's too old (32 now).

    the house is ****ed, not had anything done to it since the 70s. needs a new roof and tonnes of other stuff doing. We ain't got the money, cal. When it's finished it'll be cool, but till then ...
