    2024/25 Sean Dyche

Do we actually think he starts Branthwaite next week? .. we know how stubborn he is & Southampton (cos they are bloody awful) didn’t create a lot. I’m honestly not sure he does.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

He should be throughly embarrassed that someone as poor as Beto is coming on and making 10x the impact. Been absolutely woeful this season, you think he’d be playing to put himself in the shop window to get himself a lucrative move in the summer.

    2024/25 Jack Harrison

Absolutely trash. I might genuinely shed a tear of despair if we signed him on a permanent.

    2024/25 Michael Keane

    Chuffed for him.

    2024/25 Sean Dyche

It’s performances like today and particularly the style which dictates that he simply cannot be our manager long-term. You should not be parking the bus at home to a team that will probably come about 6th.

    Match Thread Everton 0-0 Newcastle - Saturday 5th October - 17:30

The result was fine. The “style”. It’s absolutely grim. Treating them like title contenders. Players lacking in backing pass and move skills. Full backs not crossing the halfway line.

    2024/25 Michael Keane

Keane is going to play. No one wants it but make peace with it now before the team announcement fume. O’Brien hasn’t even been called up for a woeful Ireland squad.

    Match Thread Everton 2-1 Crystal Palace - Saturday 28th September - 15:00

The world is suddenly a better place.

First point of the season. Corner turned?

Jesus christ man, the way some are celebrating a draw at a promoted team.

    Match Thread Leicester City 1-1 Everton - Saturday 21st September - 15:00

He’s going to drop Ndiaye to make us more “solid” isn’t he….

    2024/25 Michael Keane

We know he isn’t good enough but he did look a level above O’Brien last night. Very early days for O’Brien as he finds his feet in the league, settles into a new club. Etc. Need Branthwaite back ASAP, so the Keane or O’Brien decision can wait.

    Match Thread Everton v Southampton - Tuesday 17th September - 19:45

To be fair we would had to have score about 20 penalties before Virginia got near one.

    2024/25 Relegation Thread

Sick to death of people talking about the fixtures we’ve had. They’ve not been easy obviously, but we haven’t even played the likely 3 best teams in the league for a start. How many games are we going to write off exactly?! Ipswich have already played City and the RS for example. And got a draw...

    2024/25 Michael Keane

That Watkins goal gets worse everytime I look at it. Perfectly epitomises Michael Keane. Weak, gormless, slow, lead footed.

    2024/25 Sean Dyche

Parking the bus and conceding 13 goals in 4 games. And I can just imagine him talking to “Woany” about how we’d be more solid if he took Ndiaye out for another yard dog.
  16. ah11984

    2024/25 Idrissa Gueye

Absolutely miles off it today, nowhere near his usual energy. Like someone in his mid 30s who’d just come from playing two games for his country and travelling to Africa and back.
  17. ah11984

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

He was really good today, unfortunately there’s a but.. what on earth was he doing with the chance at 2-1.
  18. ah11984

    2024/25 Seamus Coleman

He can barely put 90 mins for his club any longer so going to play for his country was optimistic at best.
