    2023/24 Jordan Pickford

I'd go for 400m to clear a lot of the BMD debt. and go without a keeper for at least a season. It's the only sensible way.

Lucky you weren't in charge then isn't it! ;)

    2023/24 Jordan Pickford

The good news is that over the last few seasons he seems to have learned how to deal with all the grief he gets. Just coming in to his prime now. Last season really showed how good he is with two good center backs in front of him. I've heard a lot of criticism from ex players about how he...

    2023/24 Jordan Pickford

A bit off topic but I think your really underestimating the value of having Coleman as club captain over the last three seasons. He's had an enormous part in saving the club tens of millions.

    2023/24 Jordan Pickford

fair, But I don't remember the likes of Seaman getting constant grief. I think he just has that kind of personality that winds opposition players/coaches/pundits up. It's refreshing to see a good old eccentric Keeper at Everton.

    2023/24 Jordan Pickford

I really dont get it. Look at the amount of sub tweets saying he's average or below. Are they solely judging him on that thrashing the other week or what? I've no idea why Pickford faces constant criticisms from all sides.

    2023/24 Jordan Pickford

In a modern mercenary game, Pickford is one of the few players who might buck that trend. I doubt he'd ever move abroad or down south. And I think it's very unlikely he'd even change to another northern club. He's a bit of a mad man who seems to have carved out a niche for himself on Merseyside...

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

In the last vid, the guy talks a bit about the reclaimed rails. Are they reclaimed from the site originally (did they get pulled up and re-layed? Are they back in the place where tracks once were? Would there be old maps showing these tracks in this location when they were functional?

    Spending cap at last

But does it not mean the end of PSR, so the so called smaller clubs dont have to sell their best assets just to survive?

    Spending cap at last

I wonder if this passes does it mean renewed interest in purchasing Everton as there'd only really be one more restricted season, then it's new stadium and the strict limits on spending would be lifted.

    Pre-season fixtures

Yea, theres rumors swirling around here that theres a tournament in Jacksonville, Tampa and somewhere in Connecticut. I'd imagine given 777 are out of Miami, this may be subject to their takeover. Either way Florida in July is awful, hopefully the CT game happens tho. Tons of Boston and NYC...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

so we took their manager! worked out great!

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Yeah, fair but if we'd lost or drawn against Burnley or Forest which was entirely possible, we could be in a real scrap to stay up now. There's tons not to be happy about, the luton losses, the way he set up against Palace, the way they collapsed against West ham, the poor decision making and on...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

yea, I'm kinda here too. But all the people bashing me on whatsapp groups telling me how great Dyche is, like he's the new Ancelotti certaintly arent helping. I think it's reasonable to be appalled by the dreadful run and elated by the derby win.

Match Thread Everton 2-0 Liverpool - Chat, Match Report and MotM Poll

I'm kinda alright with forest doing all of this kamikaze PR stuff. One team was always going to break first. The way the whole thing is run is ridiculous. Fair play to them for not sugar coating their comms. Look at their response to a points deduction v ours.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

From being drubbed by chelsea to beating the RS and getting a greenday endorsement in 10 days.... that's a powerful tracksuit. Credit where credit is due. Still wouldnt mind a change in the summer but I could warm to tracksuit Dyche who makes the right calls.

    News of Ex Players

Right, but if a business deems someone worthy of a senior management position, I presume they give them a decent send off on the off chance they become very successful in their future, and the business wants to bring them back in some capacity.

    News of Ex Players

I dunno man, the club captain and 12 year club servant getting short shrift like that is very poor. Like he said, it'd be one thing if thats the way it was with every player, but it wasn't. I thought this was the one thing the old chairman was supposed to excel at.

    David Moyes

this is head wrecking. Half the time on this forum it's 'no one would take the everton managers job', then it's the England under 21 European championship winning coach couldnt get a job as good as assistant manager at Everton. Head spinning, this place, sometimes.

    David Moyes

but he could get an actual managers job right now.
