    Rugby League at BMD

Just to keep the debate flowing… The article below suggests “Magic Weekend” is not the simple money spinner it would initially seem: https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/magic-weekend-2025-destination-revealed-with-rfls-preferred-option-disclosed “Accordingly, concerns were raised by the...

    Rugby League at BMD

Definitely not a concern if it’s one or two games a year, but I was more worried about Rugby being a regular fixture

    Rugby League at BMD

It’s been announced that Rugby League will be played at the new stadium (see details below). I have a few concerns about this and I wanted see what other folks think. BMD does not have a separate pitch like Tottenham, so the pitch is likely to be heavily damaged. A Rugby ground share at Watford...

Can Everton still be considered a “big club”?

Everton have a strong history which obviously contributes to our status, but perhaps more importantly we consistently attract 40k of fans to watch us every week (and more on screen). If you compare us to Brentford who attract half that number, that makes Everton a big club…

Match Thread Everton 1-1 West Ham . Sat March 15th. 3pm

Sad we haven’t kicked on a bit from our amazing set of results initially under Moyes. I feel this more down to the lack of a striker than anything else… Loving the last minute goals tho, it really shows a “never say die” attitude lacking under previous managers. Looking fwd to the 2025 rebuild...

    Richarlison

I think it depends on the wages and the price, certainly a good replacement for DCL but perhaps not on the wages he had at Spurs

Women's team to play games at Goodison.

I believe Goodison is pretty important in the development of Women's Football, so seems apt that it would stay for this purpose. From Wikipedia: On 27 December 1920, Goodison Park hosted a match between Dick, Kerr's Ladies & St Helens Ladies, which was attended by an estimated 53,000 people, at...

    The News of the Blues

I do find the Echo podcasts ok, but can’t use the website it’s rubbish. Reporting is genuinely quite poor on Everton, the larger media outlets tend to focus on the usual suspects (RS / Man Utd / Chelsea etc).
