Can't get my head round why they'd want to take Connolly as part of the deal to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I've seen him play quite a few times and he's a decent player, but it just doesn't seem like a fit for him to go to Swansea. I'd find it much more believable if they wanted Gareth Barry.

I guess they need a new fullback, they do have Naughton and Angel Rangel there, but you would hope Connolly can get games off both of them crappers.
