I AM SO EXCITED! Everton on the West Coast!
I got access through a coworker to the tickets before they went on sale to the general public. Sideline, row 4, $200 for two tickets (I'm taking my dad!). I'm going to be able to see Fellaini's fro (well, one hopes I will see Fellaini's fro)!
It's so RARE for clubs to come to San Francisco that aren't from Mexico, so I just can't wait. For those complaining about the West Coast, sorry - you guys usually get all the games due to proximity to Europe. So just let us have 1 little game this time!

AT&T Park is beautiful. It'll be a great game. (Pitch will be weird due to baseball diamond, but still a great park).
I can also give hotel and restaurant recommendations if someone needs it.
P.S. Those tickets were expensive, we better be making bank. Also, where the hell can I buy merchandise when we are out there.

As for those wondering how we ended up in this, the group taking it on are interested in growing soccer in the US. So they specifically chose clubs for that.
It helps that we have the American GK #1 (who should be playing as a result), and that we have a growing profile in the US. I believe this group did work with MLS at one point, and since we have a good relationship with the US, well, this doesn't really surprise me.
Chelsea is coming off of playing the MLS All-Star game.
MLS All-Stars are also facing Michael Bradley's AS Roma this year. Never underestimate how much we want to see our national team players!
Other clubs in for reputation of course...but we are growing!

It will be televised in the US I expect. LA's friendlies are typically on ESPN. Fox Soccer may also pick this up. My guess is it will be either BEin Sport or Fox Soccer in the US, minus a couple of the more high profile friendlies which ESPN might take. LA Real Madrid will likely be on ESPN as it has been in the past. No idea on our game.
You'll likely have to listen to American announcers via a stream. Sorry!

Can't believe Everton are in a friendly tournament that is going to get televised, let alone in a tourny that contains Real Madrid and co.. cracking.. Absolutely stunned by this, its brilliant.
For once I find myself envying the American Everton fans. No way I can get out there unfortunately.
We'll beat Juve, though, so if LA lose we won't face each other.

I literally don't care. I'm so excited that I'm going to get to see the team play the scoreline won't bug me. Course, I'll probably change my mind the day of.
