why do they need to justify it
Because we're talking about discrimination against men. Normally it's justified because of a perceived sexual bias against women preventing woman entering the field however in Law that's obviously not the case since more female graduates are female.

You see the problem is. If you wait until you can afford it both in terms of saving and salary you will loose out on those benefits and that means you will be worse off putting at risk the chances of sending your kids to private school later or perhaps even university. You need to take benefits when you can.

I don't think people smoke to pay for the NHS. I just can't stand when do gooders go on about terrible smokers who more than pay for the whole of the NHS including all the illnesses they get and also don't claim as much as old people since they die earlier.
Smokers may pay more into the NHS via their VAT on cigarettes, but smoking-related illness costs millions to treat every year. Kind of a false economy, no?

And if we are better off not saving, halving our income and claiming benefits than we would be by earning £50k gross per year, saving £10k of it and paying our way, then there is something horribly wrong with the system. With both of us earning we are contributing far more in tax and NI and this should be encouraged so that more funding is available for the welfare state. We are also significantly reducing the likelihood we will EVER need large-scale state support.

No the tax on cigs brings in over 12B. The cost from smoking to the NHS is around 2.5B.

That's not even taking into consideration the cost to old age care and pensions that's saved.

but you don't seem to care, nor feel the need to justify that disparity, of which there are many
There was 30 years ago. I'm not sure there is now.

I think it's lifestyle choices and general differences between genders. Men are naturally either big winners or big losers in society. If you simply look at the top you see discrimination against women however if you where to look at the bottom you would see discrimination against men.

But no one gives a [Poor language removed] abou them.

It seems to be something your passionate about, this campaign for white males, I would have thought you would have all the facts, so you can lead the noble battle
