2023/2024 Kits Thread

Not that true.

They will buy them for the big clubs. Most shops only stock 8-10 teams anyway.

Anyone walking around with a "lesser" clubs shirt has either got the shirt at a good price or likes to collect shirts etc. Either way its not a massive amount of people.

If we had a brand which makes decent clothing we'd have more people wearing it.

No one is buying a training top or track suit from hummel.

That's your opinion and you're welcome to that.

I find Hummel kits look cheap and jarg as opposed to the bigger brands.
Indeed, you are welcome to you incorrect opinion too! (only messing...kind of!)

I have a silly amounts of football shirts, the hummel ones always seem to be the ones that last really well.

It is annoying that we have never had an adidas kit though! The rest of therm are really not that good. Nike kits are awful by and large. I did somewhat like the ones we had a few years back but they were generic swapped colour pallet jobs.

Only Everton fans. Who will generally either be people who buy stuff like that or who don't anyway.

I have seen loads of compliments for hummel's training gear. They make loads of options too.

You are being conned by the big boys marketing!

If you see anyone walking around in a fairly obscure teams training gear or kit who isn't a fan they more than likely got it off M and M for a fiver or something.

They just make more fashionable and wearable gear.

Not a victim of their marketing as I wouldn't buy any of it anyway, it's just obvious that more stuff would be sold and worn by people if it wasn't the crap Hummel serve up.

Its neither more fashionable or wearable.

People just think it is (I guess fashion by its very nature is what people think though.)

You are missing the point that I am making. Only Everton fans will buy Everton stuff (with some very minor exceptions) regardless of who it is made by. Those inclined to buy club gear will do so regardless.

It would change absolutely nothing. Success on the pitch is the only thing that results in more sales from non Everton fans (and who cares about them anyway?)

Also whenever I see people say "I won't buy it anyway because I'm an adult" I just immediately think they're depressed. It's not that deep, if you wanna buy a kit and wear it then go and do it. I love having a top spare for workouts etc and there's nowt wrong with wearing your jersey to the match. Stop being so arsed about being some past it bloke wearing nothing but stone island coats. God knows we need the revenue

Jesus I can't be bothered with this anymore.

If you don't think younger people will buy more stuff made by popular brands, as it also looks better, then I don't know what to say.

training stuff nike do is popular as well ,yous see more kids in the liverpool training tracksuits etc then the actual shirts nikes huge in liverpool

Spot on. Trying to get this point across but the demographic on here want us to have retro kits with collars and awful Hummel track suits which no one buys.
