2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Some people acting like we are a moyes team of old. We still have a very poor side. We beat Tottenham who were awful as proven again today and Brighton we stole a win by all accounts through a penalty when we were going away from goal and did nothing else all game. To think we will just easily beat Leicester is laughable.

We need to win and with Moyes we have a better chance, but this is a very dodgy game that we can easily lose.

Who are Spurs fans singing that they want out? Levy?
They buy or sell a player and there are pics of Levy with those meme pixel sunglasses on flooding the internet, because he’s such a shrewd operator.

One dimensional manager the fans all wanted is apppinted, starts having a mare and has no plan B and whilst refreshingly honest speaks horribly in pressers etc. O don’t think it’s a good look tbh. 26582 injuries occur and it’s Levy out again.

Complex club.

What????
Weve just had a manager who didnt or should i say couldnt compete with Southamptons Fulhams Bournemouths of this world.

At the very least Moyes goes and believes he can win against these type of teams.
The ginger fella before him set up like we was playing 70s Brazil every week.

Assume you're new to this. Moyes doesn't win big games for us. Never has and never will.

Could have gone 12 clear over them with a win next week and would have had them essentially in the back mirror

Now even if we win it’s only going to be 9, and if we somehow spung it (which we’re very capable of doing) they’re just 3 behind

Next week is season defining
We’ve done well in the crunch time 6 pointers in recent years (thinking of Forest and Burnley last year at crucial times)

We won 3 on the bounce last season to make ourselves secure.

No reason why we can’t do it again and make another statement at home. Our confidence should be as high as anyone’s

Exactly this. I want to be positive, and I think we will be fine. But Moyes lost his first game at home. We almost threw a three nil lead last week and we parked the bus for 50-60 minutes yesterday. It's very fine margins. Still. We lose to dross like Leicester at home all the time.

I just want to be as far as possible from 18th so I can enjoy the end of the season and have a cup run.

any complacency will be absolute death to our survival chances if it feeds through to the players next week

Hopefully Moyes has them ready and we make Goodison a bear pit
