2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

We need bear pit Goodison next week

I hope the match going fans appreciate that and we don’t go in thinking we’re already safe and showing some of the overzealous complacency some on this thread are showing

Goodison needs to be angry, vicious and uncompromising next week

Yell the team over the line

It’s the biggest game of the season

it’s big for them as it is for us innit mate

but ye hoping goodison and moyes and our players no it can really help if we can do them

Newcastle at home 2004/05 the game that got us champions league qualification is a big one.

Scraping the barrel. And then he bottled the next one.

And in how many years? Despite having a solid "best of the rest" team and spending big money. Unless I've gone mad the likes of Andy Johnson, James Beattie and even the Yak were top end buys that should have seen us kick on.

That Spurs team are playing to get the manager sacked, so I wouldn't put too much on that Leicester performance today or ours last week.

As it happens, Moyes was actually always very good at beating relegation fodder teams at home.

Just accept that Dyche is a bum that was deservedly sacked.
Dyche? I wanted him out after Bournemouth - at home. We had to make that change - and spent too long going about it.

Here's to a home win next week, even if Moyesy has never been great at grasping the big results when there's a degree of expectation and pressure on the game in question.

I'd love to be proven wrong because win next week and we can relax, pretty much, from here on in.
