2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Dyche? I wanted him out after Bournemouth - at home. We had to make that change - and spent too long going about it.

Here's to a home win next week, even if Moyesy has never been great at grasping the big results when there's a degree of expectation and pressure on the game in question.

I'd love to be proven wrong because win next week and we can relax, pretty much, from here on in.

But these are exactly the type of games he has always won routinely? Why are you trying to make out as if this is like a cup final or something? How’s it any different to say, the Blackpool game in 2011, when Saha bagged 4? It’s absolutely bizarre this.

Honestly ange has to go

Regardless of your opinions on the owner levy he should be doing much better
Nah - I’d like him to get booted but if they do they are stupid, akin to Man UTD. They are a very good side and just need to get their players fit again, just need to wipe this season off. They have a horrific number of injuries players.

It's a huge game in terms of our season. Loads riding on it. Whether people like to admit it or not, this is where Moyes has traditionally hit his ceiling. When the pressure to actually do something tangible - other than finish 7th - is on.

Here's to a routine win.

I have no idea what you’re going on about. What is the tangible thing that’s at stake? Moving up to 15th in the Premier League table? And you’re suggesting this is up there with the high stakes scenarios that he’s managed in the past?

Is finishing 4th, 5th multiple times, reaching a cup final, winning European knockout games, not considered tangible anymore? Just because you don’t want it to be to suit your strange, strange argument?

What about keeping us up in 2002 in similar circumstances to this? That’s not tangible either, yet this is?

By a week tomorrow Spurs and West Ham could well be below us if we beat Leicester. Spurs are away at Brentford same day we play Leicester and West Ham (currently losing at Villa) are away at Chelsea on Monday.

At some point, the crap teams at the bottom are going to win the odd game. Look at us, I bet Wolves, Ipswich, Leicester fans didn't have us down as winning 2 out of 2.

Worry about what we can do. Next week is another chance to keep Leicester at arms length and claw back the gap to others above us.

BUT, we need some signings and quickly!!!
I agree - the last couple of results don't get us results going forward. We've just lost 2 decent players for a spell by looks of it. We barely threatened the Brighton goal - if our attack looked a bit blunt yesterday it definitely looks it now. Will any loan signings be better than what we have just lost ? I doubt it. We're still going to have to scratch and claw out every point we can to get over the line.
