2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

5-1. Wow. Just wow. Haaland has a lot of goals but he’s a big body who, I have to say, gets a lot from pens and sitters. He’s good but there’s better out there. He’s benefitted from his club spending without PSR affecting them. Losing Rodri and it all fell apart. You take a guy like Salah and drop him in Ipswich I think you see the same output. I don’t get that from Haaland. The ball has to be served on a platter.

I sort of get that. But its not just City.

Red bull. 27 games 29 goals
Dortmund 89 games 86 goals
Man City 131 games 114 goals
Norway 39 games 38 goals.

That goal return is Ridiculous

Overall, this has been a great weekend. 9 points between us and the drop. Gained ground on teams above us and now we can look and aim to get past them. It’s nearly, but not quite job done just yet, but honestly, a lot of things would have to happen for us to go down now. 3 more wins, would be enough and I can see us winning more than that between now and the end of the season.

Winnable, but still tough. We’ve only won twice away from home so far this season and we have 3x coming up against Brentford who have been solid at home all season, Wolves are fighting for their lives and Palace have stabilised over the last couple of months.
OR we've won our only away game under Moyes and Brentford have lost 5 and drawn 1 of their last 6 home games. Just saying.
