2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

And United

With how they're generally playing I actually could see Man. United having a late flirt as they have little goal threat and seems their players are already rebelling against Amorim's tactics which is amusing. Only six left for them at Old Trafford and three of them are against Arsenal, Man. United and Villa. We all know how important home games are in relegation battles.

Hopefully go 1 up early v them at Goodison and they'll crumble I reckon.

Moyes is tripe. A washed up Scotsman with zero clue how to get these players to dig in.

We are about 50-50 in terms chances to go down.

Once these owners chose Moyes we automatically went to one of the favourites to go down.

@davek i couldn’t find your post

so copied it of goats reply

that post really is wild

you literally aren’t a blue

wow wow
@matty1878 I got very confused about the highlighted part of your post (I thought - is this really matty1878)? until I saw the fourth line.

10 points clear! I would have given anything for that 5 league games ago! We are in a strong position now. I still want 40 points, I’m greedy, I know. But really, that’s 3 wins and 2 draws from the next 14 games. We can do that surely?

I just hope we start to get some lads back now to help the first team. I think McNeil is not too far away ( back in the grass) and Chermitti as well. With Doucoure banned and Ndiaye injured this will surely mean Harrison gets a go on his favoured left hand side and Alcaraz gets into the AM role?
The bench is just so light, that’s the worry

We only need to pick up like six points to basically guarantee survival, and I don't see any scenario where we fail to pick up even another four or five victories even with the injuries.

United, West Ham, Ipswich, Southampton at home, Wolves, Fulham, Brentford, Palace away. No reason we can't take 10 or more points from these, but really should be more.

I say let's get mathematically safe by the end of playing City at home on the 19th of April at Goodison with five more games to go after that, should be a great celebration after the game knowing for sure we're heading to our new home as a Premier League club when it looked really in doubt for large parts of the last four years.
