2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

I’m absolutely ecstatic at this result more so than Wednesday, what a job Moyes and his staff have done, with what were relegation fodder when he came,
We’re nearly there, 2 more wins will nail it, hopefully this could be the end of an era of tedious, pathetic backs to the wall football.
Please banish the name’s Allardyce, Benitez and Dyche to the worst period in our history, never utter them again.
Koeman as well, the big doofus. I don't care if we qualified for Europe, that was all down to Rom's goals and little else. Never wanted to be here (that was evident when he took forever to put pen to paper on being manager) and did his best to do the bare minimum all while signing players that didn't fit at all. Another horrible man.

I had no expectations for the game today, the circumstances of the injuries & the draining game we had on Wednesday just made me think we didn’t have a chance, but the way they approached the game still trying to get on the front foot and win the game was the reason we came away with 3 points. I love what Moyes has done, it’s night and day from the crap Dyche served up.
This. And even when it would have been an understandable strategy to wind down the clock, they pressed for a third. I love it.

I'd say there's a fair chance that even the 30 points we are on now is enough for safety. However i would imagine it might be just over that. Something like 34 could be the magic number this season. 13 games to get 4 points seems pretty doable. Would take all kinds of records for that to not happen.

Who would have imagine this a few weeks back? Looking good UUUTFT

We wouldn't have needed to draw our way out of this season's relegation race. The bottom 3 are stubbornly resistant to revival.

We were on 17 points with a game in hand on those below us when he was sacked. Six games later we'd have still been out of the relegation zone if we'd won none of them...which we would have.
You are actually defending that's strategy!!!

Hahahhahahahhahahahahah

I reject that.

It's nonsense IMO.

Look at the clubs below us. They really wouldn't have passed a Dyche managed team with two seasons of experience in staying up...las =t season with a very tidy 48 points dont forget.

We'd have been fine.

Moyes has done wonders in sorting the back four out - especially the RB berth, and (by fortune) overseen the revitalisation of Beto.
It’s not “fortune” what’s happened with Beto. It’s called “coaching” and “tactical acumen”, two things which were completely alien to your cowardly idol.
