2024/25 Relegation Thread

it’s dyche mate he’s just a anchor on us
What worries me is we have a manager who knows what ever happens between now and the end of the season he will be gone before BMD.
We have a man in charge who does not like the supporters and has no motivation to keep us up.
That's a dangerous mix we have to get rid as soon as the takeover is done regardless of which side of the transfer window that is.

Lets be realistic and say that if we survived the first two seasons with Dyche and he now has better players to choose from then we'll more than likely be ok this season too.

As I said: this thread is just another proxy 'get the manger out' thread.

It really is a waste of time because a/ we wont get relegated and b/ Dyche will see out his contract and be replaced.
Does he have better players to choose from?

He has older versions of Tarkowski, Gana Gueye, Young, and Coleman. He has lost Onana. He has a DCL who continues to recede. He has an improved Branthwaite who he chooses to bench. Mykolenko is simply a more injured version of what he was. Nobody will tell me that Danish fella is any good. The only decent player he's bought is Ndiaye.

Too many people are distracted by the manager. The damn squad is far worse than people seem to think it is. It's a collection of misfits - fellas who weren't good enough for better run clubs and one who isn't hanging around with us for too much longer because the manager won't pick him.

We're in big trouble and no mistake. We won't have to wait for the takeover to judge the Friedkins, because if they fiddle while Roma burns, their investment in Everton could be down the Tiber by the time they have their feet properly under the table.

All I need now is an "at the end of the day" for a full house of cliches in that last sentence.

We were playing the worse team in the league mate. You should be expecting 3 points and many people would if we didn't have such a terrible and negative and unreliable manager.

We will definitely get more points this season because this fella wont be in charge for very long once the takeover is complete. There is zero chance that Friedkin keep this failure on.
Dont bank on them.

We have better options up front and a top PL CD unit when it's paired together.

Tell me that other teams down the bottom have that. You cant.

Dont think the squad is great but we have also been unlucky with injuries garner tim broja who would help improve the team. Dont think the team is great but if we csn have them 3 back in the squad will massively help us

Every team gets injuries. I sympathise with Dyche on that. But then, all the more reason to pick your best players when they are fit. Yet, he leaves Branthwaite on the bench, only to spring him when we're chasing a game. Madness.

100% agree with you on that then putting a cb upfront aswell is pathetic. Could have tried ndiaye uptop put mcneil out wide ven harrison. Not going to defend his decisions because i think wrong but do think the injuries have not helped, also that does not give him a pass for the results this season
