2024/25 Relegation Thread

He keeps us safe. End of story. Awful football is not an issue right now. Safe football is what's required.

Got to admit I don’t feel particularly safe with this twice relegated 32% win ratio dinosaur in charge.

If we replace the manager with someone half competent with ideas that come from this century then I think we’ll be comfortably safe.

It's not even Dyche per se. It's the life of a bottom half team.

I mean 20 wins gets you challenging for Champ's League, so even some of the teams up the top end are gonna drop points in about 18 games.
That's what many fail to grasp: we are a bottom half team...a lower bottom half team at that.

Until we get some cash to spend on key players and we can keep hold of them that's the only level we can expect.

Get Guardiola in here and he'd be throwing himself off the Main Stand.

They have not completed the purchase yet Matthew. There's also some small legal obstacles in the way. I'm not fear mongering, I'm as confident as I can be that they will complete the purchase, I'm just saying I wouldn't be handing them the keys, or any say, just yet. I mean, we've been here before with them...

they’ve lent us money prior

they’ve bought the land around it mate

this is on like donkey kong

imagine if it never?

we’d all be of the liver buildings!

TFG have probably already made contact with who they want

I've seen in the past posters on here screaming about relegation in order to get shut of Martinez...when we were 11th in the table.

There's a proportion of our fans - denied the excitement of cup wins for so long - who can only get their kicks from a managerial sacking and hiring process.

This is the truth and it's what's driving this bogus 'relegation' debate.

Everyone knows it too.

what cup wins is that? the last one was 30 odd years ago unless i’ve been in a coma

so a lower half team can’t play football and are only one dimensional?

utter horse poo

dyche is the crappest manager in the league and has tactics of a toddler with crayons

Do you mean like a 70m CB?

Cloud cuckoo land stuff: sack Dyche before his contract expires in 8 months time when we're nowhere like one of the favourites to be relegated and it's November 5th and 10 games into the season.

I do wonder sometimes what world some people live in. The level of hate for Dyche must be off the charts to carry this much irrational obsession.
We are 5th favourites to be relegated when 3 go down. The bookies basically say only 6 clubs have a strong chance of going down and we're one of them. We've had a number of games against the so- called smaller teams and only won 2 games. We are bang in trouble and you can delude yourself all you want, but if our form and way of playing continues we'll almost certainly be in the bottom 3 by Christmas.

Agree but a choice might have to be made if results go really bad then yes will have to look at something. Could be another big sam appointment short term with a big payout at the end same with dyche who would also be paid out alot.
Of course yeah, there's a tipping point, but right now keeping dyche and waiting for a better pool of managers in the summer makes sense to me

what’s being a favourite got to with it?

it’s not a level of hate - it’s dyche not being up to it and that’s the bottom line

his record is an utter disgrace
