2024/25 Relegation Thread

Ipswich got a run of Man. United home, Forest away, Palace and Bournemouth home and Wolves away as their next five.

Can see them getting at least one home win from that.

Desperately need 4 points from Brentford-Wolves otherwise it will be bottom 3.

brentford is a must must win

wolves will do us they’ve turned the corner now

bottom
3 is a cert nxt month

With that attitude we will be bottom three. Not having a go at you Matty, it’s a game of footy, people are already writing December off.

We wouldn’t have beat Liverpool at home with that thinking.

It’s what the club has become and has influenced fan mentality, one long boring existence

You may be surprised to know (Not) Matty had us to be beat in that

That Ipswich result for them shows that yesterdays draw at West Ham and the Southampton defeat for us how we could have really put massive pressure on them two teams and less on ourselves by really taking the game to them. Especially West Ham, who have been really poor and we could have showed them up.

Ipswich also got a 0-0 at Brighton, that's a very good away point these days as shown by them turning over Man. City and Spurs already at home.

Need to hope Ipswich remain a Luton type nearly team in home games. If they string together 2-3 home wins in the next six weeks that isn't great news at all as then they won't be far off 20 points at the halfway stage.

End of the day this team has won ONE away game in the whole of 2024 and I suspect it will remain that way with the less three aways this year. Away form like that is why 1-1s v Fulham and messing up the Bournemouth game is completely unacceptable at Goodison as those lost points will hurt you as the season goes on.

I have a feeling Ipswich will be like Luton. As soon as the injuries hit they will fold. I have a feeling it’s going to be the three promoted teams going back. Leicester, Saints and Ipswich.

Whatever peoples opinion, the fact is we are one game from relegation. Dyche has to go ASAP!
Dont think one loss from relegation same way few wins the team is not safe from it. Not going to be a great watch or well get safe fast still think we will similar to last season.

Agree not every game is a certain result also dont kno what teams near us will get aswell. Alot of poor teams down there us wolves palace is not much between us not sure why people think they are so much better. Agree the club has made fan expectaitiojs so low that games like fulham brighton even a point is seen as good at home. Is pathetic and just hope we can get this season over and start to have demanding owners when it is not good enough
