2024/25 Relegation Thread

They will pick up 3/4 points max imo. There's two 6 pointers in there also, which could help.

Forest away for them next, and then after the 3 you mentioned it's Newcastle (H), Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H), Fulham (A), Brighton (H), City (H), Liverpool (A). They're not gonna pick up many points imo. I think them and Saints will go, I don't think we need to worry about them.

Just my opinion though, and might be proven wrong.

Big statement that considering they've just taken 4 points from Spurs and Man. United and fully deserved to (indeed can make a case they should've beaten Man. United).

Newcastle aren't good enough currently that they can just rock up at Portman Road and win in second gear and they got a 0-0 at Brighton earlier this season.

If wolves turn us over at Goodison next week we're in deep do do.
I fancy us to draw that one. Obviously, I could easily see us lose it but that's the sort of game Dyche can eke out a point from. Not sure where else we'll get any points in the next few weeks, however. It's a bit bleak really.

Agreed, if we get 4/5 points in our next 7 games that takes us to 15/16 points at the halfway mark. Duplicate that for the other 19 then we're safe.
I actually think we'll improve second half of a season, we had some horrendous freak games (like Bournemouth) which I don't think will be duplicated.
With the new owners coming in also then we can hopefully strengthen a couple of positions in Jan.
That’s a hell of risk though, hoping 30 to 32 keeps us up. And we should remove dyche and buy players for a new manager, not a manager who will only play new signings, if They’re a certain age, have prem experience and good defensive stats.

Some horrendous freak games, really I can think of Bournemouth. Add in us getting lucky to pick up points v Newcastle and Fulham, plus fortune not to be 2/3 down to palace. The table doesn’t lie

Dyche plays for a draw so law of averages says that we will draw some of them games, but we will need some wins moving forward, or we will be in brown stuff very soon
