2024/25 Relegation Thread

Cunha was amazing that day. Him and Strand Larsen are decent players but aren't doing much if the defence is doing what they are. Their midfield was surprisingly poor last night aswell, were constantly losing the 50/50s and physical duels.
That’s the best our midfield has looked and played for some time, not surprising really as it had doucure further up and not festering one of the two deeper roles.

Mangala and Gana stay there now, until the other options of garner and Tim are fit.

Still think wolves are a better side than they are showing, and I was worried before the game, so the 4 set piece goals and the win are massive. They have good players up front but that defence with Dawson is catastrophic - he needs putting out of his misery.

If we can keep pressing high and winning the midfield battles as we did last night over December, plus keep the excellent set piece deliveries going into dangerous areas, we might surprise a few teams and ourselves!

Not sure I trust Dyche to keep us that way however.

Should be a really tight one this season. Southampton are gone already and I'm hoping Ipswich too but then it's a toss up between us, Wolves and Palace imo. They have much better squads than us but at the moment Wolves are in turmoil. Hope they don't pull the trigger too soon on Gary O'Neil

I still think the league will be after you for psr with that having an impact of the table.

….i’m sure he’ll go with the same but I expect the RS will comfortably run past Mangala and he’ll be out of the game plenty because he has no powers of recovery.

We can never be ruled out either to be fair. Plus we always do our best to try and not get away from it till as late as pos. We Still have to see if the rumours from May or so for your accounts when they are put in soon, will have you as been over as as much as was made out back then - (forgot the number but it was a lot) - (Sep to the one you got away with)

I'm expecting stick for this but I expected to be in bottom 3 after last weekend, and the fact we are not in bottom 3 for at least another game is a massive bonus. It was a great scoreline last night but Pickford made some important saves and 2 of our goals were own goals. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed last night and today has been less stressful but I will raise a glass if we are not in bottom 3 come the end of the month. Despite all my commonsense approach, I will be going mad on Saturday lunchtime like everyone else. UTFT.
