2024/25 Relegation Thread

They've played 2 more games than us. And they're not just being beaten in games they're being battered with no hard luck stories...same as Wolves and S'ton.
I suspect they will go down, I just think it’s too early with an inexperienced, young manager like him to write him off at this level, given his early managerial achievements and his coaching pedigree. What matters is points, so even if they are now getting battered, they are still only one win behind us. He’s one to watch I think.

No they're not. Before today their last 7 games were all decided by a single goal margin. You cant just make stuff up dave lol
Tbh as managers go i'd be looking just as much at ruud van nistleroy. His comments after newcastle should have beaten them around 10-0 came across like he was away with the fairies.

Not really true. They've conceded more late goals that have cost points than any other team in the Premiership this season. If they were getting battered week-in, week-out they'd have a far worse goals difference than the teams around them - and they haven't.

Still thought that was a massive chance for them today after beating wolves last week. Is a big step up for the manager and the players not alot of experience in the team is going to be a tough season for them

Didnt see the interview but i like him. Got them well away from relegation to league 2 in his first season...2nd promoted and 3rd promoted...

...last summer cobbled together a side but has been massively let down by Greaves being injured most of the time and Phillips being dreadful.

Done very well picking out Delap and Hutchinson. They try to play good attacking football but the players were never good enough.

I think he'd be ideal for us.

Chris Wilder has done a better job taking a team from league one to the premiership, kept them up, all playing with expansive overlapping centre backs.

No one would touch him with a barge pole here. But McKenna.......

He has shown that he is not a PL manager just yet Zat, maybe go back down to the Championship and get a few more years experience. He has been far too naïve at times in certain games and I'm not convinced he is ready, tactically they look very poor at times.

Wilder had a few more years and a lot more experience than McKenna. Ultimately McKenna has shown a degree of potential….its going to be about how he learns from these experience and adapts accordingly.

Hutchinson, looks very light to me, struggling either with the psychically of the PL in my opinion.
