2024/25 Relegation Thread

3 weeks ago was after beating wolves 4 nil to move 5 points clear of the drop zone. And it's pretty irrelevant anyway what people here think or get complacent. We can do nothing about results. It's up those in charge and on the pitch to rectify that

The big chance was actually after beating Ipswich away. They only had 4 points at that stage and this club was on eight with many winnable fixtures ahead.

Couldn't beat Fulham at home (and should've comfortably lost it), couldn't beat West Ham away and settled for the 0-0 too easily. 0-0 at home to Brentford who played with 10 men for over 50 minutes clearly isn't good enough and losing to Southampton....🤷‍♂️

Didn't take advantage to build a significant points gap so you have to take the medicine when team below finally strings some results together.

If Ipswich win today then need to be winning two of the next three home games and getting another draw against Villa or Brighton otherwise you start to get stuck in the bottom 3 with the games starting to run out.

Man. City have a buyback and Chelsea been linked over xmas so he isn't coming here to put it mildly.

I've defended DCL plenty over last 12 months as playing the lone CF in Dycheball is not an easy task but he can do more as some of Delap's control and hold up from hopefully punts towards the halfway line is exceptional.

He looks a decent bet to replace Kane in the national team in the next two years.

It's so weird though because when we won 2 nil at ipswich dcl was miles better than delap in that game. His hold up was amazing and had numerous chances that he squandered. But the issue is all our players are playing within themselves under this manager.

Too many people are seeing ipswich as Luton. They are not like Luton at all. Ipswich have a really good manager, some good players and every match for them is a cup final. We are worse under dyche. This needs to be a wake up call, we need to get a new manager in and 3 or 4 new players because right now we are going down
Feels like there’s no fight from the players or fans this year. Everyone is drained from constant relegation battles. I reckon Dyche will be gone before the Peterborough game tbh, can’t imagine the new owners being impressed with what they’ve seen so far.
