2024/25 Relegation Thread

Watched Ipswich during the week against Chelsea and was very impressed, said on here they were decent and got laughed at for overreacting and the claim was that Ipswich were the new Luton.

They may still lose this match but I still think they've wins in them, something we haven't at the minute

You know what would instantly show me DCL cares and the rest of the team cares? They huddle up mid game and game plan themselves. Ignore Sean. Take that risk. I want to see DCL put his hand to his mouth and instruct Illy where to play. To pull two up top so he’s not isolated. Take over the ship because Sean is cutting holes in it. Mutiny for the sake of the team. Be inventive. If Dyche won’t try something, then you try something.

Hopefully Ipswich are using up all of their season's luck today. They should be a man down and have conceded a penalty, yet are winning. Still, don't attack, don't score. Sean could learn a thing or two.

By how much? Because I don’t think it is much, if anything at all.

Pickford, Branthwaite, Ndiaye are starters for most teams 10th downwards.

Full-Backs, arguably the worst group in the league?

Wide players, laughable selection.

Managala and Doucouré are bottom six players.

by enough to not be melting down

when the teams below win

thanx sean

Are Ipswich now this season's side that are absolutely terrible (and below us) but somehow get bigged up as being comfortably better than us and more likely to stay up? We beat them 2-0 at their ground too.

There are clearly 5 teams in the relegation battle. Wolves may get out of it but we hammered them 4-0 recently so another one that aren't likely to breeze to safety.

You're judging the other teams based on playing us. Oddly enough Southampton are rock bottom but guess who they beat? Doesn't quite work like that.

It's so weird though because when we won 2 nil at ipswich dcl was miles better than delap in that game. His hold up was amazing and had numerous chances that he squandered. But the issue is all our players are playing within themselves under this manager.

Ipswich were terrible that day, nothing worked for them at all and it was a nice defensive job. Their one problem is they can't seem to get up for the relegation six pointers at home, they were also awful at home to Palace.

Hopefully they mess up in a few weeks at home to Southampton and that knocks their confidence. Last season Luton had a good December/January period but they then lost at home to Sheffield United and hardly won a game after that.

Very worrying though that Wolves have just taken 7 points under the new manager and have a decent home run in and Ipswich can pull these wins out of the bag (although it's still only half time).

Palace pulling away now as expected and everyone else looks too far ahead to get caught. Man. United are terrible currently but they only need to win four more games to stay up so they'll still do that comfortably.

When the momentum goes on the pitch you need to do something about it in the dugout to get some fresh ideas and direction.

I am saying this now, Ipswich have turned a corner

we have to start wining games, over to you Sean with your good run
Leicester isn`t too far away from doing the same, through coaching or recruitment Leicester and Ipswich can change the narrative around what they concede because they can score.

We can`t, under this manager we will not score goals, been the same for 2 years now...
