2024/25 Relegation Thread

Looks like they are going to give Dyche more time then.
Grave mistake.
I will put out prediction and you can bookmark it, write it down and fold inside your family bible.
Everton will get relegated this season. Too long have we resisted the inevitable. It will happen this season.
Imho window of opportunity (looks to be) wasted as we speak.
Most incredible thing to me id that some Evertonians are dubed to think Dyche is the best thing that can be atm.
At the end of this season there will be a moment when i will say..."I effing told you so."

Personally, I think we will be ok, only just though. I want Dyche gone like most of us, but I think when we have a fully fit and able squad, we will be ok. Maybe get reinforcement in during the January window just to give us that extra push

Villa, Leicester & Palace coming up.

I feel we need 6 points really from these games. Maximum points is a must form Leicester and Palace

I cant see us beating Villa

Two massive home games and can't lose at Leicester. Anything less than 5 points and I can't see Dyche surviving as you can't be wasting too many months of the season just crossing fingers.

After the next break it's Ipswich away and Fulham at home so that feels a logical point in the season to give another manager a chance to get some points in his early games.

If they even had any thought of it, They need to stick to it. As we know in the past when it seemedl like we were going to get rid of it seemed someone, they had a half decent result that kept them longer, before we then had a bad run again, but never changed, as we were stuck in the rut of hoping one result changed our next amount of games. I dont think he will be going anytime soon myself. He seems to have turned abit in his P/C's and his after game Interviews as well

well the takeover is happening any time soon so dyche isn’t getting sacked anytime soon

Keeping Dyche in till the next International break is as good as throwing those games away, anything less than a 1.00 PPG he should go, he should be gone now! But to get back up to a PPG of 1.00 he needs 8 points from the next 4 which clearly he is not capable of doing.

Villa (a) Lose
Leicester (a) Draw at best, especially if they play like they did v Spurs
Crystal Palace (h) Win? Its another Bournemouth isnt it...
Newcastle (h) Lose

That would leave him 4 points from 8 games, a PPG of 0.5 and 4 points from a possible 24.

There is no point prolonging the agony and throwing these games away, get him gone.

If we get Branthwaite back for Villa and he is able to play in all these games?

At least 8 points.

If Branthwaite plays in 3 or less of these games?

3 or 4 points

Along with Pickford, he is our most important player

I'd like to see Obrien and Branthwaite (when he returns) together as I feel tarks doesn't seem to be back to full fitness which I think would make the back four tighter defensively. Momentum is key , we have to at least not get thrashed by villa and we can start having more consistent positive results
