2024/25 Relegation Thread

Is this to beat Davek Webtrafficbot’s made up scenario of Leicester getting 22 points under Dyche?
I think you're forgetting that wins under Dyche count for 6 points so Leicester doubling their points per game will be relatively easy for him.

That is of course assuming that one of the biggest Forest fans on earth would join their relegation doomed rivals and there was nothing in his resignation agreement with us preventing him from joining them. After they had sacked Van Nistelrooy of course.

But mainly that I found 37 points to be a historically safe figure and one that any competent manager should coast to.

I'm longing for the scenario not so long back when I think 29 points was enough.

Sadlly, after this round of games we'll be out of the drop zone just on GD.

I see Leicester conceivably beating Fulham, us beaten by Spurs, but Ipswich and Wolves beaten by City and Chelsea respectively.

Get some players in here who can play the slightly more open Moyes game or we're gone.

Simple as that.

I do hope those Texans have football pragmatists advising them.

This can’t be right, you’ve been telling us to “look at the table” for the past month as we’ve been getting dragged closer to the relegation zone, as a way of defending the former manager. We’re 16th so everything’s fine isn’t it?

We're on the brink of a fanbase panicking if we get beat by Spurs: three home games lost on the spin; players not responding to another manager; owners who apparently wont put their hand in their pocket for new players.

This could be the ingredients for the club to slip its mooring's and drift off to oblivion.

I cant tell you how much I hope we dig out a win on Sunday. I dont care about Moyes. Let him have the credit I dont care. Just avoid defeat at all costs. And let's have some momentum before we're buried in this fight by clubs with, frankly, better players who can actually possess a ball and pass it to each other.

If this happens we would be out the drop zone by 1 point. Not goal difference.

Why i would have liked a transfer in to refresh the team, seeing the same players vs villa before game kills the mood. Fanbase needs a lift and a new signing would do that. Definatley need start oicking up points to take advantage

Recruitment above all else needs to happen.

The squad is limited and below par in many, many areas and when the ones that are off the level don’t perform (Branthwaite, last 5 games etc) then their is only one way.

If the new owners don’t spend it begs two questions; 1. Why buy the club? 2. Why sack Dyche?

Why would we panic losing to villa and spurs?

They're both much better sides than us right now with decent managers....

Both have depth and pace which is something we can only dream of...

We'll get more points playing proactively under moyes rather than trying to draw 0 0 and having no plan b when we concede under dyche

I don`t think its losing to teams like Villa that is a concern for people, but more the fact that its very tight behind us and each game you lose is another chance to push away from the bottom 3. Other teams have shown they can raise they game when some of the top half teams come to town, but our lot just don`t seem to have it in them. If Moyes can get us scoring we`ll be all right, but if he can`t sort that out it could be third time unlucky at avoiding the drop.

Owners will do everything to avoid losing their PL status.

That's why I think TFG should be actively looking for a successor to Moyes this season. They would be completely insane if they didn't given the investment they have tied up with this club.

If it gets a few games down the road and we're on the receiving end of 2/3/4 more losses Ild pull the trigger on Moyes without hesitation.
I support EVERY single Everton manager. Can you say the same?

But if you feel happy deflecting from your disloyalty by making my loyalty look like a wind up, be my guest...
🤷‍♂️
