Am I missing something? So many people predicting a mid table finish. We've weakened a squad that avoided relegation by a small margin.

Rondon is our back up striker. Our midfield is thin and contains players that are either injured, cba or simply aren't good enough.

Without some decent signings, I can't see how we "improve" upon last season. I'm dreading it.

Dele is actually a fantastic left winger, Lampard had a preseason to implement the system he never really showed signs of doing before, somehow the midfield is actually not bad and Tarkowski is actually one of the best CBs around.

Hopefully without a manager intent on dismantling the club from the inside we won't be going 14 games without a win. That's a not insignificant difference.
