If Moshiri sold up it wouldn't hurt the club one bit. The stadium is a distraction and irrelevant. Couldnt care less about it.
He is the one who needs to.go first, he is overseeing this mess, but once the stadium is done he is quids in and knows it, forget the rest, it's all on him and him alone right now.

I wouldn’t say so, there’s people from Australia telling people to stay at home if they’re going to protest.

Facebook is probably a wider range of non-going match fans

Hardly anyone I know still uses Facebook. Its definitely an older demographic than other social medias

Facebook is more representative of the middle aged da’s who are more likely to be pro-Kenwright and aren’t really that arsed if they see success again because they lived through the 80s.

We have the biggest Everton Facebook Page and Twitter account.

"Hardly anyone I know uses Facebook" - Significantly more people see our Facebook posts than Tweets.

From the demographic of both, I'm pretty sure Facebook has a closer match to age/location of matchgoing fans than Twitter. Usually that doesn't matter but for this campaign, given its a matchday effort - clearly it does.

On Facebook, the sentiment seems to be against the campaign. On twitter, looking at the poll - it's currently just less than 50% in favour of the campaign.

It'll be interesting to see how Monday goes. I'm of the view that to be successful with any fan campaign seeking action - it needs to go beyond Twitter.

I personally see very little coming of it and the group themselves in the main wont be commited enough to see any long term action through to be able to force any change.
Its gone from leave on 27 to leave and come back to game for the second half to leave for 5 minutes, that shows how uncommitted people promoting the idea are.
It's not going to happen

Yes because its an older demographic on Facebook by and large. Younger people tend not to be active on it anymore. And younger fans are more likely to want action because we've seen zero success in our life.

Thats not a criticism, its just the way I see it. My Dad wouldn't support any of this and is pretty happy because he already saw us win the league. Theres a desperation in the younger fans for some sort of hope because the next generation after us are just supporting other teams. Where is the next generation of Everton supporters coming from with this dross on the pitch?

Definately agree

Ultimately the ship has sailed when FFP came in to keep clubs like us on the periphery.

The fanbase needed to have united when Kenwright sold Rooney and Arteta to pay the banks, tried taking us to DK, lied about Goodisons safety certificate, using his phoneys like Sharp to accuse the BU of being "a man and his dog" countless lies of 24/7 investment search, 3 failed ground moves, not a penny invested in the playing staff.

Its not just an Evertonian thing football fans in general have little interest in calls to arms - Newcastle fans hated Ashley but filled out SJP every game, Utd fans raided OT to get the Glazers out then a Ronaldo signing later they are back to packing out the ground chanting and clapping.

Fully support the efforts to shine some light on the piss poor management from the board. Well done for that.

Some parts of gp take a while to empty. Also can't imagine being in the concourse of the upper bullens and gwladys with everyone crammed in there.

What do you think happens at half time?

I wouldn't call it a shambles. If not for injuries to all our best players at key times I believe we would be in and around arsenal in their position and none of these things would be highlighted.

A couple of points like the youth system could be improved and also the philosophy should remain consistent but when your in the most competitive league in the world these things are easier said than done.

The narrative of calling things a shambles is one I can't get on board with. A shambles would be negative behaviour that could lead to the board selling up and putting Everton in a situation of no return.

This season was never going to be a strong one with the amount we spent and the injuries have been horrendous. I just take it for what it is and am happy to see what we can do next season after benitez has had a chance to spend. Making our home ground toxic is a positive for a visiting team so how in any way is that going to help us?
This is the point though.

We have spent 500 mil and look where we are and what we've got to work with.
Look at the managers we've had and got right now.
The reason we couldn't spend this summer is because of mis-management and that's the point of the protest, we should be getting closer to the top teams and were getting further away. If we never had a pot to piss in then it would understandable.

But the alternative is that the club finally gets its act together.

None of this is about winning trophies really. It's about the club having direction for once. Perhaps the fans anger won't just lead to them bringing in random players in january and actually start to put a plan in place. Perhaps this anger will cause the board to get its act together and give people proper roles to do rather than everyone being involved in each others business.

This is what the fans want, what both of us want. We want someone signing the players and it be only their job, with some sort of plan in place rather than signing random people. We all want someone growing this club and running it.

Nothing will change personnel weise but maybe , shout about kenwright enough and moshiri will finally click that maybe he shouldn't be letting him do as much as he still does. Even if he stays sitting on his shares for a free season ticket
If you have any sense of this cynical board then you'll know that they know they only have to replace a manager in order to stop the questioning of their governance.

And that's all the organisers of this are after: Benitez out. It's the same message they;'ve been peddling all season and now rehashed to expand into more principled issues. They dont want Moshiri out. They want that stadium built. They might want kenwright out and Brands, but they KNOW they are under the protectorate of Moshiri.

The way you judge any protest is whether they have achievable targets. A boardroom protest against a man who holds all the cards and who the fans at base dont want shut of will achieve the square root of f.a.

...but then again, this proposed protest is not about that; it's not about achieving that objective. And anyone honest enough would say so.
