Thing is mate, if the players are more concerned with watching the crowd midway through the first half, they shouldn't be on the pitch anyway.
Unfortunately these days players aren't build like they where 20,30,40 years ago, unfortunately they have been insulated from absolutely everything including criticism which has made a lot them unable block out the crowd.

The majority of modern day footballers have been told from day one how great they are, when in essence they aren't as good as they think they are, and as soon as they are faced with real adversity and a fanbase like Evertons, which demands the absolute best they simple crumble.

I agree with your reply but just look at the likes of Keane... Ive never seen a player fall to bits as much as him when he makes a mistake.

I long for characters like Watson and Parkinson who would make a mistake but never go hiding, it would actually spare them on.

We're a club littered with boys in men's bodies.

Too much cryarseing in here. We have a team that is low on confidence and with key injuries, we have a manager that the fans refuse to get behind and has no money to spend. We have an owner who has put more money into the club than anyone, even John Moores. The Board are the problem, we have a CEO who isn’t a CEO but more of a social worker, we keep employing mediocre ex players who have never won anything in their lives (FA cup apart), we have totally wasted Moshiri’s millions on absolute garbage, £45M for Siggy anyone. The only two people I would not point the finger at, at this moment in time, is Moshiri and Benitez …..

Moshiri has wasted the money , he is as responsible as anyone

Don’t be silly….
The owner of a business is responsible ultimately for the performance of the personel they hire. Where there is failure it is the owners responsibility to make changes. We have seen one mistake always compounded by another.

If we do nothing then nothing will change because there is such a complacency around the club. I bet they think they are doing a good job.

The protest is about the board though.

Moshiri has backed his managers with his money, you cannot ask anyone to do more than this.…
You don't give an alcoholic a bottle of whiskey and then tell everyone you tried to help them.

The backing, financial or otherwise, should have come on the back of rigorous planning, a mutually agreed strategy and performance markers being met along the way. That's what Moshiri was wasked to do, needed to do.

Moshiri didn't do that. Figuratively, he gave a jakey a bottle of Vat 69 and now wonders why the jakey is drunk at four in the afternoon.

Unlike yourself, I have seen our team reach peaks and win many trophies. John Moores gave us the title of Mersey Millionaires and was ruthless if a manager underperformed. Moshiri has been no different except that the managers, even with reputations like Koeman and Ancelloti didn’t do it. If you were Moshiri what would you have done differently ?….
