Why oh why are you trying to misrepresent the intentions of this protest, claiming it's about Rafael and not the board?

The several EFC fans (with online followings) that have arranged this protest...

Have made it very clear that it's against the failures of the last 5 years and the money that's been spent.

Yet you're being overly defensive and have changed the narrative to it being nothing but a coup to attack your darling, Rafael?

I think it's very evident you lack any form of leadership.

You just love to feel important in taking the complete opposite stance to everybody else.

Because when you have people willing to stand up to the things you've been annoyingly complaining about for five years.

Instead of supporting and joining forces, you instead criticize and claim their intentions aren't the same as yours and miss an opportunity to have an influence for the greater good.
This protest is definitely not about getting Benitez out, he is going to do that all by himself quite soon, in fact, it could be said that this post may even prolong Benitez’ tenure. You can just imagine the spin he will have his media mates put on it. ‘I am a local man of this city, the fans see me and know that I understand what they want, they know that Brands and the board don’t like me so they want to sack them all, then my friends, the owner and the sponsor, can let me Benitez the magnificent run the whole club’ . He will certainly try to spin something along those lines.

As I say, the protest goes much deeper than our current manager. His incompetence will put paid to him soon enough. I just hope he doesn’t relegate us while we are waiting.

I know a lot of the lads involved in this. They’ve been trying to change things at the club for years to no avail.

This isn’t a flash in the pan. It’s years of underperformance and no communication that has brought the fan groups to this. It’s only the start as well, they have plans further down the line.
Good, I sincerely hope that they do. Don’t let those bar stewards at the club off the hook.

A terrifying number of spares as was the derby and what Chelsea down to two credits . People are voting with their feet
The constant changing of KO times and dates is taking the piss more than ever as well remember.

The derby was a 20.15 kick off. What’s that all about ?
Midweek used to always be every game 19.30. Give fans chance to get home.
Telly just isn’t arsed about fans.

Some of the scheduling this season has been nothing short of a disgrace. Was really enjoying those 3pm KO’s on a Saturday. Not sure we have one for a while now…(n)

Oh no doubt mate , everything is hitting look at the time people had to leave for Brentford and I appreciate Chelsea is midweek approaching Christmas. All that said I know lads who found excuses for the derby when normally they’d not miss that whatever the circumstances or the bevy before . I also know fans who are offering their tickets for tomorrow and these went to that finch farm event for having 100% away records not long ago , apathy his hitting and unless things changes they’re going to get worse .

Absolutely hes proven hes more than capable of being sacked on his own. I just hope the weasel and his media luvvies dont try to spin it as a reason for his ineptness like hes done everywhere else. We can't let them hijack the movement - Fans protesting against board and not poor him cos hes had no money to spend. Fix the board and start with hoofing this manager, 2nd fire whoever backed the hiring of this manager, no more jobs for life or yes men on the board. EVERTON 1ST.

No mate. You;re the one misrepresenting things. The objectives of this stunt is to leave nothing untouched - because it fails to attack THE reason we are where we are: the owner.

It's a craven statement that bends the knee - blaming everyone for our issues other than the man himself who created them all.

Go and read their statement online again. They want to "protect" Moshiri's investment.

If they had any teeth they;d be sinking them right into Moshiri, but they dont. They're a gummy and insipid shadow of Everton fan protests of the past.

If they start to target Moshiri rather than propping him up them I'll change my view.

The fans are always 100% behind the team.. this type of thinking is why we are in this mess.
You have accepted that this club is mediocre and getting worse and still willing to accept it. Half of these players are not good enough to be playing for us, nor do they really give a …. Yet you want to back the team that provided the fans with nothing. We scored 2 goals in 2 months we won 1 game in 11 and we are on the worse run in 22 years. The fans have been there EVERY GAME time we stood up and said this not not acceptable before it’s to late

the fans can’t be behind the team, I have not accepted that we are mediocre I just dont want to walk out on the team while they are playing

Now that’s concerning about the 100% lads I must say.
I don’t think it’s apathy, I think it’s a total disconnection with the club.
I know I don’t feel the same right now that’s for sure.

It’s aimed at the owner you maniac.

I think that the word disconnect is absolutely the correct one . The manager feels like he’s the cherry on the cake of a horrific and horrible situation . I can only speak for myself but that’s exactly how I feel .

Before covid went crazy again the other day I booked another holiday for next year and I never even looked at the fixtures , didn’t even glance why ? Because I don’t think I care any more . Of course I do but if you knew my history with this club it was frankly unimaginable on a few years ago .
