Why not? How is that not a position you can take? You cant say sell up.
And then turn around and say NOT TO THEM.
Life doesnt work like that.
They have very clear goals. Why not? How is that not a position you can take?
Totally missing the point David.I agree with the protest. But that statement is so wide ranging as to be almost meaningless.
Simplify the message: just stick with one major issue - the sale of players and the failure so far to bring in players to what is a relegation quality squad.
It's pretty poor PR from the 27 lot, and it has been since their inception IMO.
Why? Would you think they were acting in the best interests of Everton if they demanded the current board step aside for the Burnley owners, for example? They have very clear goals.
Sell up or change the boardroom.
To dictate who he sells to is quite the demand.
Interesting. Do you have a source for that? The most I ever saw on that topic was hearsay from twitter accounts and the like....The thing is mate... surely to goodness all Evertonians want the club to be so, so, so much better than it is and has been for far, far, far too long.
The ownership, BoD and the club executive management bear the responsibility to improve every area of the club, and they haven't done.
When Farhad Moshiri first arrived, we all thought that the 'punching above our weight' days were over as he promised funding to strengthen.
He did and has continued to finance things and we've gone backwards - surely this proves abject mismanagement and that's what the #27 Years Campaign is trying to get him to act upon... and if he continues to support the current BoD and won't affect the clear and obvious changes required, then it's time he sold up and allowed someone else to do what he won't.
And before anyone says things like 'Better the devil you know than the devil you don't' or 'be careful what you wish for' - there were at least two or three, seriously interested parties other than the Peter Kenyon-led group to the recent takeover situation that would never have gained any ground had Moshiri not encouraged it... him saying last week that there is no 'For Sale' sign on the club was laughable.
Yes, he's involved with the campaign but, what on earth has his location got to do with anything ???Assume The Esk is still playing his role as George Soros, miles away, trying to be the face of things
...and that's too blunt a message to be weilding.Totally missing the point David.
It is not about the sale or incoming of players ,thats just part and parcel of the game , players come & go all the time .
It is about removing the culture that has been festering for the past 27 years , it all culminates in the one person that has overseen this massive decline yet seems safer than ever.
Strategic review they promised us , well that starts by cutting the head off the snake then working downwards.
Yes, he's involved with the campaign but, what on earth has his location got to do with anything ???
If selling the club isnt in the clubs best interests, then why sell the club? Why? Would you think they were acting in the best interests of Everton if they demanded the current board step aside for the Burnley owners, for example?
The Kenyon bid had dodgy written all over it.
No mate, I honestly do not.I think you know the answer to that, And
No mate, I honestly do not.
I honestly fail to see what his location has to do with anything.
No, it's simple: the demand is to sell up to people who can progress the club.If selling the club isnt in the clubs best interests, then why sell the club?
So instead of :
The Act ultimately is either replacing the board and executive team (including Chairman) or allowing new owners to purchase the club.
You want it to read :
The Act ultimately is either replacing the board and executive team (including Chairman) or allowing new owners to purchase the club, as long as those owners arent American.
?????????????
Demanding he only sells to certain people leads to loss of credibility. No, it's simple: the demand is to sell up to people who can progress the club.
Imagine wanting Moshiri out but tolerating the thought of vampires like Thornton and Kaminski coming in to ravage the club.
That just leads to loss of credibility.
