#27 Years/NSNOW/#AllTogetherNow Fan Campaign

Why do I get the feeling you are related to the esk and his podcast somehow. Even the way you speak is materially the same with your last shilling business.

Blind faith in one fallible individual is never a good thing.
Why can't you answer the question posed?

It was me who said apathetic fans are part of the problem.

It was me who said fans who would sooner sit and silence and accept the current board at Everton have exactly the club they deserve.

I'm not part of the 27 campaign. I do however support them, 100%. They are not perfect with their approach, but it's better than crossing fingers and hoping things improve.

You ever given thought to an alternative approach. You know, one that doesn't alienate majority of the fanbase?

You're getting aggy towards any fan that doesn't support it, which ironically is part of the problem with the 27campaign in general.

Please, give examples.

I'm sure those involved day to day with the 27 campaign would welcome your input on how to be more inclusive and non-offensive. Personally, I don't have the patience. That's why it's a good thing I'm not involved.

Various groups have tried over the years and have got next to no traction because the 'majority of Evertonians' are too cool for school. They just want to go the match and have a laugh. That's perfectly fine.

What isn't fine is now that reality of several consecutive bottom half finishes, and a good chance of a second successive relegation battle looms large large numbers of the 'Go the match, have a laugh' fans are fretting over what's next.

It's quite possibly too late, whatever happens.

Edit: by the way, I'm not angry with any fan. I'm just disappointed that so many still don't get it.

It's a good thing you're not involved mate because you're coming across like an even bigger tit.

It's not very hard to understand how to be more inclusive. It involves consulting the fanbase with tangible next steps rather than deciding in secret how they're going to lobby for change (whether they like it or not, on behalf of Evertonians).

And that's fine, I've been called worse.

Problem is, the time for consultation was 10/15 years ago. We're out of time.

Evertonians don't protest en masse, they don't kick up a fuss.

This is the result.

Disagree. Look at how we all came together end of last year to support the club when it was needed.

That was done through brick & mortar - all fan groups coming together and getting every single fan involved. All fans want their voice heard, we didn't nominate 27 campaign to speak on our behalf. Doing what they're doing was never going to win any votes and frankly i'm staggered that they've done it again after the criticism they had previously for the secrecy.

This gets said a lot but I just don't understand where it comes from. In my experience we're generally seen as one of the most volatile, impatient, and difficult to please fanbases in the country by literally everybody other than our own fans, who see us as placid happy clappers who will just go along with the status quo.

And when was the last time you saw us protest mate?

And I dont mean 1 fella asking Bill where the Arteta money went.

The have never claimed to speak for all Evertonians.

They don't (so far as I'm aware) meet in secret. Anybody is welcome to get involved. Message them through their social media if you like.

The question of leadership at Everton (The Board/The Owner/The Manager) is so divisive a consultation of supporters opinion would give very little direction to the campaign. You have staunch supporters and detractors on visually every subject related to Everton.

Those running the campaign have (in my opinion) made mistakes, but I'm absolutely delighted they've done something.

More power to them.

We hardly ever protest

The reaction to the walkout last year was astonishing

It's weird isn't it? We'll instantly boo a misplaced pass or howl in derision at centre back - full back - goalkeeper triangles, but as soon as something far far bigger is presented, we mumble something about having to get to nan's for tea and disappear.
