#27 Years/NSNOW/#AllTogetherNow Fan Campaign

A couple of notes for all those definitely going or thinking of going to join the 27 Year Campaign protest gathering on Saturday...

Banners, flags and singing etc are all encouraged
Defacing Goodison in any way shape or form is not on and will be deemed 100% unacceptable.
There will be media personnel present covering the protest and they are already accepting of the fans concern for change in asking reasonable questions - their continued coverage can be massively helpful. so nothing that brings the Campaign into disrepute will be acceptable.

Well thats a bloody waste of my "Kenwright Out" tattoo I was going to windmill round GP.

Only joking mate ;)

The 27Years Campaign have stated previously and again this evening that Matchday protests will not happen.

Matchdays are for ALL Evertonians to concentrate and unify in support of the players and manager.

Protesting on Matchdays would be divisive and highly likely to attract only negative media coverage.

A protest is 'negative'. You can dress it up anyway you wish but it still boils down to fan unrest. Any coverage is negative whether its a nothing sat or a match day. Much more impact on a match day

I think that this is a justified and sensible idea. Nobody as far as I can see wants to create divisions amongst the fans. It seems that this is mainly to get a message to our owner who lives in Monaco to understand the concerns of the fans. The same people who protest on Saturday can also without any difficulty be supporting the team at our 1st game of the season. Being critical and wanting your voice heard is not incompatible with backing the team.

There seems to be a lot of criticism of Kenwright, I can understand that but this campaign is rightly aimed at the owner of the club who in my opinion shares most of the blame for where we are at. Despite being Chairman, Kenwright has little influence over decisions and certainly cannot be blamed for the appointment of Silva or Benitez.
The clue is in the wording mate.
27....Moshiri ( although a major problem in itself ) has only been here for 6 yrs.
This is about The Best Evertonian thats ever lived.
The man that sold everything that wasnt nailed down to keep his name above the door.
Obviously you cant oust the owner , but you can force enough pressure on him to rid this club of Kenwright and the lemings on the payroll that have seen 27 years of total mismanagement.
And it has to happen now , as next time we face a relegation battle we might not be able to get out of it.

Great stuff, the situation towards the end of last season distracted people from the board.

Honestly feel sick of the thought of Kenwright feeling like he'd achieved someone when we stayed up.

That email from Moshiri sounded like he was finally gonna let a DoF do his job but also praised Kenwright and Baxendale. We have one of the highest paid boards but are ran like a Sunday league club.

Mate, you're not getting it.
The 27 Years Campaign is trying to bring about change at the top, not to disrupt anything on matchdays.
And with mainstream media like the Times, Telegraph, Guardian, Sky etc all covering the event on Saturday and understanding why it's happening, it's getting positive media coverage, not negative !!!

Right now, the team and manager need every bit of unified support that the fan base can deliver and protesting on matchdays would detract from that.

IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN !!!

Oh am getting it, it's just delusional to think fan unrest can be considered in any way a positive in terms of coverage.
It will be as successful as the ridiculous 27th min walk out which was a complete flop

If your gonna have a protest its got to be pre Chelsea in with Sky TV there for max coverage. Not on a non descript sat
Right you missed me
Quite clearly saying that the campaign is not against Frank Lampard his coaching team or the players ? The campaign is about getting Moshiri to either listen, engage and act to remove a quite useless board of directors, the 27yrs campaign didn’t protest once when the fans came together to rescue this cowpat of a board and save this great club from the ignamy of relegation ,don’t you think a Saturday where there is no game ,no expectation of anything happening, is precisely the right time to make a stand?

So your enjoying the club under Kenwright and Moshiri then? Did you enjoy last season? I’m saying yes!! You don’t seem to have an opinion on a board that brought us to the brink of relegation depsite wasting £500m in 6 years ? You idiots deserve the club you have

I have answered it, no I don't. Pre Chelsea is the time with the world watching.
Instead it's on a nothing sat with no one from the club in sight.
